Your pet's annual wellness examination is critical to keeping your pet healthy and will allow us to detect any abnormalities that might be present. During the routine wellness exam, we will evaluate your pet's overall body condition and assess his or her weight, temperature, and heart and respiratory rate.

Your Pet's Exam

The answer to this question depends on your pet's age and current health status. During early kitten and puppy development wellness exams may be recommended on a monthly basis, while for the average adult pet annual visits are the norm. For middle age and geriatric pets, semi-annual examinations are recommended.

This is one of the most common treatment plans we give as a veterinary hospital. It is often met with a sigh, a "holy cow!", or "I guess my youngest one will have to get a scholarship!".
