Came here today to establish care for my dog. Met this incredible Brazilian/American veterinarian Dr. Regina Feltrin that took the time to talk to me and help me take a good care of my dog! Kuddos to her and to her staff. Woof woof! highly recommended :) Obrigada

The ladies that were trimming my dogs toe nails were awesome! They were very caring with my baby and even took breaks to ensure he was relaxed and okay before the continued with the toe nails clippings! Sosa loved the peanut better! lol. Dr. Triggs was GREAT! Very exceptional vet! He was very welcoming entering the room and very knowledgeable about my dog and any questions I asked! He even helped me find a better shampoo for my pup! I will be returning! This was my first time visiting for a second opinion on surgery. I was very pleased from the beginning to end. My furbaby is just that, my dog that I love and care for him and treatment means everything to me. I found what I was looking for within this facility from front staff, to doctor. I'm glad goggle found this search for me. It's just what my dog and I needed.

Absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond! Our dog had some sort of painful skin irritation on a day when our regular veterinarians office was closed. I called Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital because they were close by and I explained the situation to the front desk. Dr. Feltin was supposed be on her lunch break but she still had us come in immediately and took care of our dog needs. Dr. Feltin is our new veterinarian :)

Dr. Triggs fixed our Millie! And his amazing staff loved on her and provided the best care till I was able to pick her up from surgery. They were prompt to examine Millie, determine the best course of action and to answer all of my questions. It was a stressful day for us but Millie couldnt have been in better care. Thank you HEVH!

My dog needed a dental cleaning and a small surgical procedure. I had the bloodwork done last week. I took her in early this morning. Everything went as expected. The people are very nice and helpful. Dr. Triggs and Dr. Feltrin are the best. I can tell everyone involved really cares about our furbabies. I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital!

So grateful. My sweet dog was under breathing distress. Her regular vet was unavailable, but Highlands-Eldorado got us right in. The vet came back early from lunch to help her. They were kind, patient and comforting. AND, best of all, they were able to provide immediate and reasonably priced care. Thank you!

I want to start this review by saying my dog is my absolute world. I came here after my corgi tore her CCL. I had done a lot of research on TPLO and CCL repair surgeries in the area.

I decided to take her here for a consultation based on proximity and the amazing reviews. Dr. Triggs has been absolutely amazing every step of the way. He was able to identify and confirm she tore her CCL and recommend next steps. He walked me through exactly what the surgery would entail and what to expect.

They were able to get her scheduled for surgery less than a week later. After her surgery he went over her x-rays with me and even assessed her hips. We just went back early this week to get her stitches out (2 weeks post surgery). He was there to assess her healing and let me know she was doing great! I do not have enough great words to describe every step of this process. We will definitely becoming back and I would recommend Dr. Triggs to anyone.

I have brought my dogs here for regular check ups, random illnesses, and even a surgery and this is by far one of the best veterinary clinics I've ever trusted my dogs with. They are so sweet about educating you on how to care for your furry family members better and take wonderful care of their patients.

I went in yesterday for the first time with my senior dog, Whiskey for an ultrasound, and it was about an hour drive from my residence. I have taken my dogs to many different veterinarians and have very rarely found ones that I really clicked with for my dog's care and I can say that I couldn't be happier with the care I received for my dog yesterday. The staff were amazing and wonderful, they were so kind to me, my toddler and wonderful and patient with my anxious dog. They helped fit all of my dog's needs in my budget and answered all of my questions. It is a far drive for me, but I'll definitely be back because I feel like they truly cared and that meant so much to me as this dog means the entire world to me; her receiving the care she needs from people I can trust is so important to me. Thank you so much for everything!

The best vet weve ever had. The staff are all extremely courteous and make a point to be very thorough. Weve been taking both of our beagles here for over almost two years and wish we would have made the switch sooner! Keep up the good work

We went to The truck-a-treat is was just an awesome time for us. We got to pet a Kangaroo, a Lemur, a beautiful white Fox and an Alagator (well I could've they had his mouth taped butter nah) it was so cool. They had a contest for best pet costume and the winner is going to win a free annual exam yeah! There were treats for kids (and grown-ups) and pets. There was popcorn,snowcones, lemonades,and gift card from Texas Road House and another more. It was a great safe fun for the whole family. Miss Jodie work very hard on this event the proof was in how much fun and organized it was. Great job Thank you

Had such a great experience with my dog Piper's first visit here. She is a very quirky and nervous schnauzer in new situations(as most dogs are, but she's a bit extra :) ). And this is the first time I haven't seen her sit and shiver the whole time. Still weary, but Dr Triggs was so gentle with her and she seemed definitely more relaxed than in the past. He's very thorough and knowledgeable and definitely passionate about his profession! Very knowledgeable and calm team overall and good atmosphere. Jodie is always great, as I've known her for a very long time from a previous clinic and have a lot of trust in her as well. Happy I've found a great fit for Piper!

Highlands eldorado is the best veterinary clinic we have went to. We take all of our dogs there and they even gave a free exam to us for being first time clients! They have the best attitudes and a positive environment and atmosphere. Best in Texas!

Dr Wesley Taylor is a fantastic vet. He is down to earth and doesnt try to sell you on treatment that isnt realistic. So easy to work with. I wouldnt take my pets to any other vet!

Very kind and helpful! We were pinched for time moving pets to Hawaii, the rabies quarantine process can be quite tedious and confusing. They met all our needs promptly and got us on our plane in time. Incredibly grateful to them.

Dr. Taylor was the veterinarian to perform my dogs surgery on a torn ACL/CCL. During the consultation, he was informative about the different methods to repair my dogs CCL and presented educational materials for us to go over at home. Im glad I chose this clinic because my dog couldnt bare weight on his injured leg for more than 30 seconds, now about 5 months post surgery, my dog is running around and able to play fetch with no issues. Im so happy with my dogs progress and loved how Dr. Taylor and his staff were able to answer any questions I had.

Previous employeed. Was terminated in 2019. Doesn't change the fact that Dr. Taylor is a good surgeon. So when I called to make an appointment for a spay and gastropexy, on my 11 month old great dane, I requested HIM as the surgeon. He refused. Practice manager assured me that Dr S was competent and comfortable with both surgical procedures. Some unknown reason my dog had complications. Dr. S had to go back in the next morning because my dog had internal bleeding from the spay procedure.

I had to take her home 4 hours later because the icy weather the next day was keeping ever single person from coming in the next day. These pictures are 14 days post op. All the yellow in her skin are bruises still healing. They were all black and blue, from trauma to that entire area. Terrible bruising still healing. Horrible scarring that will never look normal.

Nothing will change the horrible scars left behind. Nothing will change the tragic experience. Nothing will fix this. I hold Dr Taylor responsible for this. He chose to have nothing to do with an innocent dog. I hold Christie responsible for allowing me to believe someone else was capable to treat my dog, and they weren't. Dr. Taylor is a coward and Christie is a liar.

All my pets are patients here and they've always done a fantastic job. Dr. Taylor and team will always be our vet team no matter where we live. Just got this guy 48 hours after major hip surgery. Thanks to the team for all you do for our family!

I've been going to Highlands-Eldorado for nearly 20 years. 20 years, 6 dogs and they treat me like I'm a new client; professional, responsive and they know their business. Love the entire crew there.

I've been at this vet for over 16 years. Dr. Taylor is awesome, and the staff is always pleasant. I will always bring my dogs here!

They are always very nice and helpful. They always answer all my questions and follow up with me. My cat doesn't like people but loves all the employes.

I had an intern as the vet today. She was thorough and efficient. We liked her, and we'll visit again next year.

I highly recommend Highlands-Eldorado Veterinary Hospital. It was an overall great experience from when I made the 1st call until after our appointment was complete. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Taylor and his entire staff. I found them when searching out options for repairing a CCL tear in my sweet girl. The tightrope technique Dr. Taylor recommended was different than the TPLO surgery most others offered, it was less invasive and had the upside of speedier recovery.

He took extensive time to explain the differences, answer my questions, and plan out a course of action. In panic trying to get her in they got her in for a consultation and surgery the same week. They've gone above and beyond with the care and the updates of my fur baby. Being away from your dog for awhile really stinks but knowing she's in the best hands is the biggest relief!

So grateful for Highlands- Eldorado Veterinary Hospital I appreciate, 1. How quickly they were able to get me an appointment for Betsy. 2. The thorough details about each surgery procedures, the updates and letting me visit. 3. Everyone in the hospital is as kind as can be.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Taylor and his staff! I first came across their clinic a year ago when looking for CCL tear surgery options. Dr. Taylor walked us through the tightrope procedure and explained the process very clearly and walked us through the treatment plan. We live on the third floor and he offered to keep Caden under their direct care until he was able to walk up stairs again, roughly a month - month and a half long, at no extra charge.

They knew from the beginning our dog was not the fondest of others not allowing anyone but us to touch him. He growls and snaps but they are able to sedate him safely and they take the steps necessary to not only make Caden the most comfortable as possible but us as well. They took their time with Caden as he worked to warm up to the staff. By the end of his stay, they were all best friends.

So when Caden tore his other CCL just 5 days ago, I knew who to call immediately. They took us in on Monday and performed the surgery the same day. Caden is currently recovering with them and they allow us to come visit him every day. He will be with them until Thanksgiving, if not longer. The first few days he wasn't wanting to eat or take his pills for the staff, which happened the first round.

So they let us come in and spend as much time as we want with him so that he feels comfortable enough to take his meds and eat. I would recommend Dr. Taylor and his staff over and over again. The go out of their way to accommodate any needs you and your fur baby may have. The tightrope procedure is the way to go and much less costly and invasive compared to the TPLO procedure. 5 stars isn't enough in my opinion.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Taylor and his entire staff. We found them when searching out options for repairing double CCL tears in our Berner, Leia. Christi at the front desk was so helpful in relaying our requests to Dr. Taylor, responding quickly to me, and squeezing us in for that same day. When your dog can't walk at all every minute is appreciated!

We had been on a waitlist for surgery at another center for 5 weeks prior to Leia tearing the second CCL while we waited, so we were thankful that EHVC made room on their schedule for her in 4 days.

The day of the first surgery they sent video of her "walking" on the first repair, they cared for her for that first week and completed the second surgery one week later. Again they sent me video of her afterwards, this time walking on two casts, but walking again! After one more week of "inpatient" care Leia came home in two casts, happy and hobbling.

Those casts were off shortly after, and everyone at the office was so supportive throughout her rehab and when she had a few unrelated issues. No letter how busy the office was they made a way to get her the care she needed. She is now back to 99% of her old ways, running and playing and happy. EHVC has also helped us navigate issues with our older dog, always talking through care plans and explaining options. Veterinary care can be costly, especially when it's surgery, etc. but they have been reasonable and conscious of costs, offering options as needed and never making me feel like less of a "pet parent" when I need to make a decision to hold off on certain things. We are grateful we found such a wonderful, knowledgeable veterinary clinic for our pets!

Dr. T has been PAWsome with both of our pups. He guided us while deciding to end Maggie's life. Our Sasha is blind. He is very gentle with her and calms her anxiety.

We absolutely love Dr Taylor and the staff. Our dog Destiny has had both of her hind leg ACL surgically repaired just a short month ago. She has done amazing so far! She loves going over there now. We walk in and she leads the way. Could not ask for a better vet and staff. We drive all the way from Lewisville!

Our beloved 17 year old cat Milo got sick very suddenly. It was heartbreaking to see her deteriorate so quickly. We had to put her down. We decided we wanted to say bye to her as a family so our two boys (ages 8.5 and 6.5) came with us. We held her, cried a lot and said goodbye. Everyone from the receptionist to the vet tech to both doctors were extremely sensitive and so kind.

I felt like they really understood the depth of the pain we were feeling. We are so thankful for all of them. It was a hard day and if we are faced with that decision again with our 14 year old cat we know we would be treated the same. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything. Milo was cremated and we have her box on a shelf so we can talk to her any time we want.

I’m very happy with this doctor and his staff. They were the only that I could find other than the emergency hospital that had a sonogram in their office and it was what my dog needed they were able to get his problem under control which I honestly didn’t think was going to have a good out come . He’s doing good now and I’m very happy and so am I.

We and all of our family have been clients of HEV for many years and always receive outstanding service and care at a fair price. We receive good advice and compassion when there are tough issues to make. Dr Taylor and his staff know us and our dogs and their history and that makes working with them easy.

Highlands ElDorado Veternirany Hospital is the best! Wonderful doctors and a great staff. We have complete confidence in them caring for our dogs. Dr. Taylor correctly diagnosed one of our dachshunds with Cushings disease several years ago and the medication he prescribed has kept her in good health and living a normal life. We appreciate everything about this Veterinarian office.
