Susan is the Practice Manager of Animal Medical Center. She worked with Dr. Strauch at his previous veterinary facility for 14 years prior to the opening of Animal Medical Center in 2002. She is especially sympathetic to the needs of our geriatric patients.

We strive to prevent illness in your pet whenever possible through routine healthcare. At Animal Medical Center, we offer comprehensive wellness plans designed to meet the needs of your pet based on their lifestyle, eating habits, exercise habits, etc. Our vaccination protocols are tailored to each individual pet, following the protocols endorsed by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Hospitalization

Because some diseases and illnesses are too serious to be managed at home, there may be a time that we recommend that your pet be admitted to our hospital for treatment or for more diagnostic tests & or treatments. While your pet is in our hospital, we want you to feel comfortable knowing that they will receive kind and gentle care from our team of highly skilled Technicians and Doctors. You will be kept informed of the progress of your pet and informed of any significant changes in your pet's condition.

Surgery

We offer advanced surgical techniques and technology using the latest modern anesthetics and monitoring devices. Depending upon the age of your pet and the procedure being performed, we will run a pre-anesthetic blood panel on your pet prior to anesthesia. We also perform an EKG to determine the heart health of your pet.
