About Us
Report
The Forest Hills Cat Hospital was founded in 1974 by Dr. Jay Luger. In the mid 1970's the idea of a cat's only hospital was revolutionary because small animal practices were primarily dog-centric. During that period there were less than a handful of feline only practices. Nowadays there are more than 200 feline only practices in the US.
Feline Inn
Report
The Feline Inn was founded in 1998 to offer boarding services for both clients and non clients on an appointment only basis. Our boarding facility features a quiet area, with music and roomy double cages for your cat's comfort. The cages also have shelves that serve as a perch for your cat. The Feline Inn is attended to by our licensed veterinary technicians who lovingly scrutinize your cat's behavior to help insure that all is well during your cat's stay.Cats that are social and friendly are allowed out of their cages during the day to give them an opportunity to exercise.

No Kill Animal Shelter Resources We Are Not A Shelter
Report
We at the Cat Hospital believe that all cats deserve a caring home. Often we are asked if we could house unwanted cats. We understand that life can throw curve balls, and that sometimes these curve balls hamper your ability to take care of your pet. Unfortunately, the Cat Hospital is not a shelter and does not have the resources to provide shelter and search for homes for unwanted cats. We will however do everything in our power to help you find a home for your unwanted pet, short of taking ownership.
