Services
Pet Exams
Our comprehensive nose-to-tail physical exams detect early health issues in pets. Annual and semi-annual visits include dental assessments, weight monitoring, and parasite screening. We tailor examination frequency to each pet's age and medical history, ensuring timely intervention for conditions like arthritis or dental disease. Preventive care during exams helps extend pets' healthy lifespans.
Pet Vaccinations
Customized vaccination plans protect pets against core and lifestyle-specific diseases. We administer rabies, distemper, and leukemia vaccines while considering individual risk factors like outdoor exposure or boarding habits. Our protocols follow AAHA guidelines while addressing client concerns about over-vaccination through titer testing options.
Pet Teeth Cleaning
Professional dental cleanings under anesthesia prevent periodontal disease progression. Digital X-rays identify hidden dental issues while ultrasonic scaling removes plaque and tartar. We provide post-cleaning polishing and fluoride treatments to maintain oral health, complemented by home care recommendations for daily dental maintenance.
Pet Surgery
Our surgical services include spays/neuters, mass removals, and orthopedic procedures using advanced monitoring equipment. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork ensures patient safety while multimodal pain management supports comfortable recovery. We perform both elective and emergency surgeries with AAHA-standard protocols for optimal outcomes.
Allergy Management
We diagnose and treat environmental and food allergies causing skin irritation in pets. Diagnostic testing identifies specific allergens while treatment options include immunotherapy, medicated baths, and prescription diets. Our approach combines symptom relief with long-term management strategies to improve pets' quality of life.

This is such an overdue review. During the 3 years I lived in Madison, I could not have asked for a better veterinary. My pups had many issues, eating an oatmeal cookie, inuring her hip/back and Dr. White and Dr. Olson + team always gave the best care. I went to two vets before I found them, and I am so happy I did! They are caring and go above and beyond with customer service. I live in California now, and miss this place so much!

If you live in the area, you will not find a better vet than Dr. White. I'm wiring this review to help anyone out there who is looking for a vet they can trust and count on. You will not be disappointed in this team.

These folks treat you like family. They understand how important our pets are to us. I liked the employees dressing like their pets. Great moral booster.

Dr. White and her team are the best! They are always so patient and caring with my pup Reuben and are so detail-oriented (e.g. giving him gut-safe treats that don't bother his tummy).

My dog is not an easy one to work with due to anxiety around new people (and the vet) but Dr White did wonderful with him! Highly recommend

Petcare Animal Hospital has high quality concern and care for our family. Shelby, (RIP) Ali, (RIP) and now Zahra are treated better than we thought possible. Our family rescued 12 cats so far in the almost 39 years in Wisconsin. Kitten to elderly we've treated cancer, kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, and more. They even made boarding our reluctant cats a breeze. We feel fortunate to have lucked upon this practice that is very close to home.
