Services
General Medicine
Our general veterinary medicine services address a wide range of pet health concerns through comprehensive diagnostics and treatment plans. We manage chronic conditions, perform wellness exams, and treat acute illnesses while emphasizing preventive care strategies. With in-house laboratory capabilities and advanced imaging technology, we provide accurate diagnoses and timely interventions for optimal pet health outcomes.
Microchipping
Microchipping offers permanent identification for pets using safe, biocompatible technology. We implant these rice-sized devices between shoulder blades during routine visits or vaccinations. Our clinic follows industry best practices for placement and scanning protocols to ensure reliable identification when pets become lost or separated from owners.
Spay and Neuter
Our spay and neuter procedures promote long-term pet health while addressing community animal population concerns. We perform these surgeries using modern anesthetic protocols and post-operative care plans. These procedures help prevent reproductive cancers, reduce behavioral issues, and contribute to overall pet wellness when performed at appropriate ages.
Orthopedic Surgery
Specialized orthopedic procedures address skeletal injuries and conditions affecting pets' mobility. Our surgical team handles fractures, joint issues, and developmental disorders using advanced fixation techniques. We provide comprehensive post-operative rehabilitation guidance and pain management strategies to support full recovery and restore normal activity levels.
Preventative Care
Preventative healthcare programs focus on maintaining optimal pet wellness through regular check-ups and proactive interventions. Our protocols include vaccination schedules, parasite prevention, and early disease detection strategies tailored to each pet's life stage and health status. This approach helps avoid costly emergency treatments through early identification of potential health concerns.

I do not trust my animals anywhere else. They take their time, do it right, and explain options in simple terms. Most places say what is to be done their way, this place takes time to explain all the options, not just the one they recommend. They are the best in my opinion. 6/15/22 still the best.

I called because my dog was very sick and they said they couldn't see her because we hadn't been seen in 2yrs. We were posted overseas with the Department of State, is the reason we hadn't been there. So disappointing because they were are good to vet when we lived here.

The vet and vet techs at this clinic are exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure your pet is taken care of with love. Our pets are family and we had a diabetic minpin who became a regular at the clinic. He was also treated with compassion as we dealt with the side effects of diabetes. We continue to take our GS and cat to the clinic. Kudos to all who work there. The pandemic has affected so many businesses including health care and vets. The shortage of workers is even more difficult when dealing with animals and people. This clinic continues to provide quality care despite the hurdles.

If you are looking for a vet clinic that cares about animals, their owners, and providing quality services, DO NOT PICK THIS PLACE. Just moved to Oregon and I am looking for a new vet to take my dog and cat to. The woman answers and goes "Unfortunately, we are not taking new clients at this time. We haven't been for about two years. We lost three doctors." Then how the hell do you even call yourself a vet clinic lady.

Never in my life have I called a vet clinic and been told that. Get your priorities in check Oregon Vet Clinic. Also you know this review is 100% honest and true because if you read the rest of their reviews, EVERY SINGLE one is from a person who has been taking their "pets there for years." LOL
