Wellness Exams
Comprehensive physical examinations help detect early signs of illness in pets. Our veterinarians assess weight, dental health, organ function, and overall wellness to maintain optimal pet health through preventive care strategies tailored to each animal's age and breed.
Vaccinations
We provide core and non-core vaccinations for cats and dogs following AAHA guidelines. Our protocols protect against common diseases like rabies, distemper, and bordetella while considering each pet's lifestyle and exposure risks for customized protection.
Dental Care
Professional dental cleanings and oral exams prevent periodontal disease in pets. Our services include digital dental radiography, tartar removal, and treatment for gingivitis to maintain proper oral health and prevent systemic infections.
Emergency Care
After-hours emergency services address critical pet health issues through our partnership network. We handle trauma, poisoning, breathing difficulties, and other life-threatening conditions with immediate diagnostic testing and stabilization procedures available 24/7.
Hydrotherapy
Underwater treadmill sessions and swim therapy aid in pet rehabilitation. This low-impact treatment improves mobility, builds muscle strength, and reduces pain for animals recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions like arthritis.

We just recently transferred to Steele Creek to have out greyhound seen for rehab due to a spinal injury. Because we had such an awesome experience with the rehab sessions, we then decided to go to Steele Creek for primary care. So far we've worked with Dr Schuver and reception team member Arielle and they have both been incredible to work with. Dr Schuver spent time listening and helping us understand the issue and answering all of our questions and really took time and care to figure out the best treatment plan. We appreciate the team so much and everyone is friendly and helpful!

This hospital is nothing short of amazing! I remember reaching out to them initially by phone and they were so detailed and helpful through the entire conversation. I know they must be animal lovers to work here, however the depth of their genuine love for animals is clear when you both speak with them and then meet them in person. Literally everyone from the office staff was amazing to work with and if I have any future needs I will definitely be back here. Thank you for doing such an amazing job and I wish this hospital continued success!

We brought our dogs there from their first checkups to their last, every visit and check up in between. Service was generally good. We found out we could save about 50% on our dogs meds by ordering them through Chewy. Worst of all, and I still can't wrap my head around this, they literally brought us the bill for euthanizing our dog, while we were in the room saying goodbye. We've been coming there for ten years, we're going to dash out on our $150 bill!?
We'd spent thousands of dollars there, how about you just mail it to us. It was so cold of them, we're sitting on the floor heartbroken, holding our pup, then hold on let me grab my credit card real quick. I can assure you, we will never be back. Whoever thought this business practice was a good idea should be ashamed.

I've been taking my dog to Steele Creek Animal Hospital for over 10 years. I initially started going there because I lived in the Steele Creek area. Despite moving about 35 minutes away from it, I continue to take my dog there, despite several closer options. They are so good with my pup and I will never go anywhere else for veterinary treatment or for boarding.
