Gil designed and constructed by hand, the first of several different products for the equine industry. Once other veterinarians saw the product, orders began to roll in so fast; Gil quit his pharmaceutical job, enlisted the help of his young sons, and began the task of building what is now known worldwide as La Boit Specialty Vehicles Inc.

La Boit maintains a full-time staff at our Columbus, Ohio facility whose only job is to service our previously-manufactured vehicles. We do everything from general maintenance, to adding functionality post-build, to refurbishing a used La Boit purchased on the secondary market. All La Boit Specialty Vehicles are commercially-built from the chassis up, and are never a converted RV or Bus. 3/4" exterior grade plywood floor glued and fastened to the 2" x 2" welded box steel floor framework and attached to the chassis via special vibration dampers. 1 1/2" aluminum box tube framework walls and roof engineered 16" on center.
