Diagnostic Ultrasound

We use our ultrasound machine as a diagnostic tool to look for problems in your pet's abdomen and chest. We can assess the liver, spleen, kidneys, bladder, stomach, heart and intestinal tract. The procedure is non-invasive and rarely requires sedation, so it is very safe for your pet. Ultrasound examination, is a non-invasive imaging technique that allows internal body structures to be seen by recording echoes or reflections of ultrasonic waves. Unlike x-rays, which are potentially dangerous, ultrasound waves are considered to be safe.

Antech is a full service laboratory that offers over 400 tests and special profiles in chemistry, pathology, serology, hematology, endocrinology and microbiology. Antech Diagnostics also provides results in a timely manner, usually preliminary results are returned same day or next day.
