Behavioral Medicine
Report
Your pet's behavior affects every interaction you have with him or her on a daily basis. Behavior dictates everything from meal time, to exercise time, to downtime such as relaxing on the couch with other family members. When a pet has a behavior problem, the consequences are far-reaching. Behavior problems threaten the bond you have with your pet by damaging the loving relationship that should exist between you. In extreme situations, a serious behavior problem can lead to euthanasia or surrendering a pet to a shelter.

I am traveling for work in CA from FL when my English Bulldog got into something and got sick creating a potentially fatal inflammation in her lung. The team at Palmdale took my call at 7AM and squeezed me into the schedule at 10:30AM. I got to the office which was very very busy. Filled out my new patient paperwork followed shortly there after with a vet tech visiting me in the waiting area to get an initial assessment of what issues Zoey was having.
When an exam room opened up they put us in it until the vet could see us. After the initial vet's diagnosis we decided on X-rays and blood work. The vet tech took Zoey to complete that process. Upon completion of the x-rays and bloodwork the vet took me through the results which were not exactly the best but we agreed on a course of treatment. The vet tech came back with the medications and explained each one.
I was reunited with Zoey and off we went. Of course, I paid the $700 bill which to some may seem high, but all this took place in 2 hours. I would call that expedited service and requires a higher fee. The good news is Zoey is responding to the treatment and God willing will fully recover. Thank you Palmdale Vet Hospital Team. Job well done!

I officially love Dr. Wong and really appreciate their ladies helping me get a second option without breaking the bank. I did have to wait longer as a tech had an emergency and had to leave and they adjusted my bill due to this. I was using a voucher from the Lange Foundation since I had previous spent $300 the night before at Animal Care Center of AV and was told my baby needed a $4600 surgery. Dr.
Wing took additional X-rays and I was only charged for 1, and he will send them to an orthopedic so I'm not charged for another visit. He confirmed my cat doesn't need surgery as we should see if it starts to heal on its own and wait for the orthopedics opinion. He also prescribed meds for my baby so he is comfortable until we get he hears from the orthopedic. The tech also brought me blankets to pad my seat as I have sciatica. Definitely coming back here.

I called to have my cat seen for an emergency same day, the receptionist gave us an appointment to work us in, I am so very thankful! From the moment we got there the service was quick and helpful. Not a long wait, kind, and not pushy for unwanted service. I would 100% recommended Palmdale veterinary hospital! They took care of my precious kitty! Thank you all

This was my puppy's first time to this vet and she loved them! They were very warm and friendly. She can be timid with new people, but she felt very comfortable with them immediately. She got three vaccinations and her rabies shot all in one day and none of it phased her. They were mindful to give some orally and two shots in different places. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in answering all of my clarifying questions. They were extremely capable, competant, and compassionate. I will be bringing her back for all of her veterinary needs.

This is the first vet that I have gone back to multiple times. The people here are so welcoming and kind. The doctors are very knowledgeable and work with your concerns. The last time I went was on February 1st, I didn't have an appointment but my dog needed to be seen. They were upfront with me and let me know I might have to wait awhile and I was willing to wait as long as needed. However, they were able to get me seen within 30 minutes and I was so thankful. I absolutely love this place and if you are looking for a vet that cares about you and your dog, this is the place to go.
