Veterinary Laser Therapy
Our Class IV Therapy Laser provides non-invasive pain relief and accelerates healing for conditions like arthritis and wounds. This FDA-cleared technology reduces inflammation while promoting cellular regeneration. Patients experience faster recovery times with minimized discomfort during treatment sessions.
Preventative Care
Annual wellness exams include comprehensive physical evaluations and tailored vaccination schedules. We emphasize early disease detection through routine bloodwork and parasite screening. Our preventative approach helps maintain optimal health while reducing long-term medical costs.
Emergency Care
Trained veterinary teams handle critical cases including trauma and poisoning incidents. We maintain diagnostic equipment for immediate assessment of life-threatening conditions. Emergency services operate during regular business hours with after-hours referral options available.
Vaccinations
Customized vaccination plans protect against common infectious diseases in Central Florida. We administer core vaccines like rabies alongside lifestyle-specific immunizations. Our protocols follow AAHA guidelines while considering individual pet risk factors.
Dental Care
Professional cleanings include ultrasonic scaling and subgingival plaque removal under anesthesia. Digital dental radiography detects hidden periodontal disease. We provide home care guidance using VOHC-approved products to maintain oral hygiene between visits.

I recently had to put my cat down due to medical complications that resulted in her being in a lot of pain. Downtown Pet Hospital's staff was very supportive towards me in this process. Having to go through this is an emotionally challenging experience, especially for having a close bond with your pet. The staff expressed gentleness, sympathy, and comfort during this time. At one moment, one of the staff members even cried and expressed that she developed a bond with my cat as well. While I hope to never have to experience this again, I will always remember how helpful and nurturing this place was towards my cat and I.

The doctors are friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. They usually remember your pets and their history without needing to look at a computer the whole time to be accurate, and even comment on those that have moved on. Bottom line, they care.
