Services
Wellness Care
Our wellness exams assess pets' overall health through comprehensive physical examinations and age-appropriate diagnostic testing. We monitor vital organs, skin/coat condition, and musculoskeletal systems while providing vaccination guidance and parasite prevention recommendations. Our preventive approach helps detect early signs of conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis, allowing timely intervention to maintain optimal pet health.
Pet Dentistry
We offer complete dental services including oral exams, teeth cleaning, and periodontal disease treatment under general anesthesia. Our dental care prevents systemic infections by addressing plaque/tartar buildup and includes home care education on brushing techniques and dental diets. We provide dental X-rays and extractions when necessary to maintain oral health.
Laser Therapy
Our Companion Animal Health Cold Laser treatments reduce pain and inflammation through photobiomodulation. This non-invasive therapy accelerates healing for conditions like arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and soft tissue injuries by stimulating cellular regeneration. Sessions last 1-10 minutes with noticeable improvement often seen after initial treatments.
Spay and Neuter
We perform spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs starting at 8 weeks old, including pre-surgical bloodwork and post-operative care instructions. These procedures prevent reproductive cancers, reduce behavioral issues, and help control pet overpopulation while offering long-term health benefits that contribute to extended lifespans.
Emergency Services
We provide emergency treatment during business hours for critical conditions like trauma, poisoning, and severe illness. For after-hours emergencies, we coordinate care with trusted referral partners while maintaining follow-up communication. Our team offers triage assessment, stabilization, and diagnostic imaging for urgent pet health crises.

I wish I didn't even have to give a one star. Dr. Rowe is rude and has pet discrimination all over here by her actions and the way she spoke to me about my bernedoodle. She entered the room and didn't even introduce herself & proceeded to tell me my dog is a mutt. She doesn't see why people spend money on these dogs when you can just go to a shelter and get the same thing. She literally said mutt about 3x while there. Run! Run from this place I honestly think she is in the wrong business. I left In tears and shock to be treated so awful.

Best. Vets. Ever. Dr. Rowe and Dr. Ruby have taken great care of our dog and cat. Not only for regular care, but during an emergency surgery for our dog, as well. They are both very knowledgeable and compassionate, and all of the techs are, too!

I am new to the area so this location is convenient to my home. I recently took my 11 year old pekingese here bc he has been having some health issues. Dr Rowe was the vet on site. Upon entering the room she barely introduced herself or got acquainted with my pup. He does have behavioral issues, but I have never had a vet put a blindfolded muzzle on him before. She didn't seem to care and had zero empathy for my animal.

She essentially said she couldn't even give him exam but still charged me an exam fee and just rattled off a series of worst case scenarios. She also mentioned she has killed an animal before giving X-rays. Yikes! I have zero faith in this clinic. Oh and they didn't even call me to check up on my animal, which every vet I've ever went to has done so. This place is horrid. At the very least, it's not that difficult to be kind and courteous to someone who may have to put their beloved animal down. Shame on you. I will not be back.

I recently had to find a vet that would take my cat, Sniff, in for a pretty serious medical concern out of nowhere. I did not want to go to the emergency clinic due to previous dealings and Green Cove Springs Animal Hospital was very accommodating and compassionate to my pet and myself. They quickly diagnosed and had a plan set to help Sniff, my cat, and am glad to report she is still around and a happy furball. Thank you to the staff and the doctors for your great facility.

Took my 75 pound hound dog here because we have had trouble at other places. The staff and vet were very friendly and kind. Very professional. You can tell that they have a love for animals and patience even with my anxious and excited pup. They were quick yet caring. I will be going back for all my future needs. I was highly impressed and satisfied with the care provided. Prices are fair. Thanks for the awesome care provided to Missy. You all are the best!
