Services
Acupuncture
Our acupuncture treatments combine traditional Chinese medicine with modern veterinary science to address chronic pain, mobility issues, and systemic health conditions. This therapy works by stimulating specific points on the body to improve circulation and promote natural healing. We use this approach alongside conventional treatments to create comprehensive care plans for pets with arthritis, neurological conditions, and post-surgical recovery needs.
Surgery
We provide surgical services ranging from routine procedures to complex interventions using modern techniques and equipment. Our surgical care includes pre-operative diagnostics, pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation planning. We maintain strict sterilization protocols and monitoring systems to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Our team collaborates with specialists when advanced surgical expertise is required.
Wellness Exams
Regular wellness examinations help detect health issues early through comprehensive physical assessments and diagnostic testing. These checkups include vaccination updates, parasite screening, and nutritional counseling tailored to each pet's life stage. We create customized preventive care plans considering breed-specific risks and lifestyle factors. Early detection of potential problems allows for more effective treatment outcomes.
Rehabilitation
Our rehabilitation programs combine therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, and manual therapies to improve mobility and recovery from injuries or surgeries. The underwater treadmill provides low-impact exercise for pets with joint conditions or post-operative needs. We develop individualized rehabilitation plans incorporating multiple modalities to maximize functional recovery and comfort.
Stem Cell Therapy
This advanced treatment uses stem cells to repair damaged tissues and reduce inflammation in pets with chronic conditions. We harvest stem cells from the patient's own fat tissue and reintroduce them to target areas needing regeneration. This therapy shows promising results for pets with osteoarthritis, ligament injuries, and certain neurological conditions. We carefully evaluate each case to determine suitability for this treatment.

My older JRT needed help for her arthritis. We've been doing water therapy, laser and land exercises. Also acupuncture and chiropractic. Helps my sweet older pup feel better. Love love love Margie, Jesus and Dr Tilghman. All the team here is great. They truly care about the 4 leggeds.

I tried to work with them for a year. They did nothing to actually help my puppy. They gave the wrong vaccine for her age. We were treating for a yeast infection that they did a culture on. After the medication ran out she was still having the issue. They would not give her more medicine nor did they have time to see her in a timely amount of time. I have since seen a different vet that has cleared all issues up on the first visit. Oh by the way they also kept saying she had Addison which turned out to be so untrue.

Bad experience - they have lost two pets recently that were boarded! They did not show urgency in locating our family's lost pet. They removed his collar, left him on a run and he got off and out of the fence. Incompetence! We saw the fence was in disrepair and had weaknesses, plus our pet was not supervised properly, and allowed to run away. They did not really do much to locate him, and were slow to report sightings to the owner, so we could search for him. Negligent and irresponsible.

The staff and the vet were absolutely amazing! They were perfect with my dog. Very efficient and thorough. And barely any waiting time and the appointment was quick. Being new to the area I really appreciate having somebody treat my dogs like their family. I definitely have found my new vet!

LTAC is the best! Drs Michelle and Rosie are wonderful as is the entire staff. My Molly has an autoimmune disease with many issues. They have brought her from weak and frail to a happy healthy dog. They treat us like family and always have time for her. I honestly don't think she'd be here today without them.

Loving Touch is Amazing! Our 15 year old dog was diagnosed with a nasal tumor March 2019 and given a few months to live. Someone suggested I take her to Dr Michelle and I am so glad I did. It is now almost May 2020 and our dog, Gracie is still with us and living a comfortable life thanks to Dr Michelle and her wonderful staff!

Dr. Michelle and Dr. Rosie are both so incredible. They have helped my pittie recover from a knee injury and have helped manage her arthritis. The aquapuncture gives the benefits of acupuncture but without my pup having to sit still for 15 minutes. We are now regulars that are willing to drive over an hour each way for them! Great!
