Omro Animal Hospital strives for the best care of your pets! We provide veterinary services such as surgery, laboratory services, dentistry, medication, and nutrition for dogs and cats. Omro Animal Hospital was founded in 1954 as a mixed animal practice. As of 2007, the decision was made to make the practice a companion animal practice. We perform routine exams, vaccinations, and surgeries and have our Winneconne location that can do routine wellness exams by appointment. We provide your pets with high-quality, professional medical care in a safe and gentle environment.

The Omro Animal Hospital was started in 1954 by Dr. James Tomasek and functioned for nearly 25 years as a solo mixed animal practice with a major emphasis on large animal services. Dr. Tomasek built a new clinic facility in 1980, with Dr. Philip Johnson joining in 1982. In 1983, a veterinary clinic in Neenah, Wisconsin, discontinued a satellite clinic in Winneconne that operated for about three years as a companion animal facility.

Known in a larger sense as the "Fox Cities" for their location in the Fox River Valley, the cities of Appleton, Oshkosh, Neenah and Fond du Lac surround Lake Winnebago. It has a nice small town center with good parks and inner residential neighborhoods. Oshkosh has the usual Wisconsin assortment of dairy products, agriculture, and light manufacturing.

If this is an emergency, or if your pet needs urgent care, please call one of our locations for a faster response. Payment is due in full at the time that services are performed. If being admitted into the hospital, we cannot begin the care of your Pet until you have confirmed your desire to do so by 1) signing the client consent & estimate form, and 2) leaving an initial deposit of 50% of the upper end of the estimate. This is the only way that we have of knowing for certain that you want us to proceed with the care of your Pet.
