Complete in house laboratory: Our clinic houses an array of equipment to allow rapid diagnostic evaluation of your pet. This machine is responsible for providing chemical analysis of your pet's blood sample. This machine allows assessment of different organ systems (kidney, liver, gastrointestinal tract) and electrolyte values.
Available In-House Tests

This test assess for exposure to and potential infection with heartworm disease, Lyme disease, Anaplasma, and Ehrlichia. This test assesses the likelihood of your cat or dog having pancreatitis. The results of this are used to direct your veterinarian toward potential further testing that may be necessary to treat your pet accurately.
Imaging Equipment

The radiograph (x-ray) machine at Lakeside Animal hospital provides prompt images and analysis of your pet's body ailment. The use of x-ray imaging often times allows the assessment of fractured bones, dislocated joints, heart disease, lung disease, abdominal masses, gastrointestinal foreign bodies, etc. X-ray imaging is also helpful to use prior to and following surgery to provide accurate diagnosis and evaluation of surgical issues. This procedure uses liquid barium to assess your pet's GI tract.
