Questions
What Fear Free techniques do you use?
We employ pheromone therapy, stress-free handling protocols, and cat-specific environments. Our team uses low-stress restraint methods and creates positive associations through treats and gradual acclimation.
Do you handle emergency cases after hours?
We refer urgent cases to MedVet Indianapolis, our 24/7 emergency partner located 15 minutes away. Our staff coordinates care and provides follow-up treatment when possible.
What payment options are available?
We offer CareCredit financing and Scratchpay payment plans alongside traditional payment methods. Our team works with clients to find affordable solutions for veterinary care.
Why should I spay/neuter my pet?
Spaying/neutering prevents reproductive cancers, reduces roaming behavior, and eliminates heat cycles. These procedures increase lifespan and reduce pet overpopulation through permanent sterilization.
How do you handle anxious pets during exams?
We use Fear Free certified handling techniques, including gradual acclimation and positive reinforcement. Separate cat areas and pheromone diffusers help reduce stress during veterinary visits.
What end-of-life options are available?
We provide private euthanasia rooms with family accompaniment. Cremation services, memorial keepsakes, and emotional support are available to help owners through this difficult process.

We adore the veterinarians and team at ZCVC. They treat our pets with the same love we do. Dr. Jones is exceptionalhighly skilled and caring. We have complete faith in her, and our cats do too. The veterinary technicians and receptionists are also outstanding. Dr. Shari and Dr. Rick Lyons are equally fantastic!

This clinic has been able to help my cats more than one that's specifically for cats. They take the time to let them get comfortable and are kind and courteous to people too. All of my questions were answered. And solutions were given for my cats that have had ongoing problems that other vets said there was nothing that could be done. They are genuinely kind and helpful.

Our two dogs got in a fight late Friday evening, and we were in a bit of a panic not having a vet after moving here recently. I sent an online inquiry and within minutes of them opening they contacted us and got us right in. They were incredibly helpful, professional and made us feel at ease with what happened. We are so thankful to have found them! Excellent service!
