Sadly used to be my go to Vet. But they were extremely cruel and inhumane in the euthanasia of my dog Lilly who had a mammary gland tumor. She was 15. But they were extremely cold and seemed angry, and THEY DIDNT SEDATE HER. They just gave her the shot. No IV, No sedation, just gave her the euthanasia shot right out the gate. Barely let my family say goodbye. Were only focused on making sure they got their money and it was over in less than 10 mins.
My dog was scared and struggling and they just held her down and forced her to comply rather than sedation and allowing some time to sit with her. It was an extremely hard and traumatic experience and they didnt explain anything to my family about what to expect or anything. Just got us in and out as fast as possible and took her to the back shortly after. Everytime Ive went to see them over the last 2 years, even prior to euthanizing my dog, they were short, cold, apathetic , and almost seemed angry for no reason?
Like theyre annoyed that we came in. I definitely dont trust them with my animals. More recently I tried to bring my cat in for an upper respiratory infection because she couldnt really breathe through her nose and had weepy eyes and kept sneezing and coughing and they told me she was fine and not sick enough for meds. Told me to come back in a WEEK. I had to take her to another vet the following day for a second opinion and they immediately gave me antibiotics and wanted to make a follow up appointment to check for feline asthma because I had told them that she has coughing fits quite frequently and and its just been exacerbated by the URI.
They told me they couldnt believe the other place had just brushed her off like that given her very obvious symptoms and signs of URI and that they refused to give me antibiotics. So yeah, Im not sure what changed at the Vet Clinic of Symbioun but when I began taking my pets there is 2018 or 2019 , they were GREAT. After Covid, idk if they changed staff or management but I never saw the nice female vet I had seen the first couple times.
And after I stopped seeing her my experiences there went downhill and each time it seemed to get worse. The euthanasia of my dog was HORRIBLE. And I genuinely cannot believe that any vet would feel okay about doing that to a dog and a family grieving.

On Saturday November 9, 2024 my English Pointer had a small wound on the underside of her belly that was "mole like" in nature but was bleeding quite a lot. I live 600 miles away but found Dr. Kent by my phone and took my dog to him. Before I even got checked in they had my dog in the back room getting her fixed up. She is doing great. Thankyou Dr. Kent and staff.

Dr Patterson and the staff were absolutely amazing when our Clark (AMF Odd Doctor) broke both stopper bones during an amateur race in Abilene. Compassionate, educated and humorous at appropriate times.

We went there for an emergency. They took great care of our dog. They kept us informed even with the tough decision we were faced with.

Staff very friendly but prices are asinine! Had my dog spayed (under 50lbs) and shots updated, no isssues.picked her up and they charged us $527! Called 3 other vets in the area to compare, they were significantly less $127-$220. Needless to say we won't be back.

It was exactly how much I was told. Got our cat fixed. Picked him up after they called and he has been a happy camper! It's been almost a week and no complaints at all. The staff here is amazing! Thank you all!
