Wellness Exams
Report
Your pet's health is always our number one priority, which is why for most pets we recommend annual wellness exams for your pet to ensure that your animal companion remains in good health. If your pet is a senior-over seven for dogs, over nine for cats-we strongly suggest twice-yearly exams and blood screenings.
Vaccinations
Report
Puppies receive a DHPP (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo Virus) vaccination every 3-4 weeks from 9 weeks of age to 16 weeks of age. Weeks 12 and 16 are the most critical age for receiving this vaccination. A 1-year rabies vaccination is received at 16 weeks of age. Kittens receive an RCP (Rhinotracheitis/Calici/Panleukopenia) vaccination every 3-4 weeks from 9 weeks of age to 16 weeks of age. At 1 year of age, dogs receive a 2-year DHPP (Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo Virus) vaccination and a 3-year rabies vaccination.
Spay & Neuter
Report
Every year thousands of stray and unwanted animals are euthanized in shelters across the United States. Many of these deaths are the avoidable result of owners failing to spay and neuter their pets. Even if you keep a close watch on your pet, accidents happen, and unexpected offspring mean more animals that won't be given the chance at full, happy lives.
