Lewis Animal Hospital - Timothy T Lewis Did you know that heartworms have been diagnosed in all fifty states? Heartworms are transmitted to both dogs and cats through the bite of a mosquito carrying immature worms. A blood test can be performed while you wait, to determine whether or not your pet has been infected with heartworms. We are pleased to offer state-of-the-art blood analyzers in our clinic.

Our practice can run a complete blood count (CBC), blood chemistries, and electrolytes to determine what issues your pet may be facing. We are not only a veterinary clinic, but also a full service hospital.

I grew up in Cincinnati and began working at Lewis Animal Hospital as a veterinarian assistant when I was fourteen years old. I loved working with the animals, clients, and veterinarians at Lewis so much that I remained a veterinarian assistant through high school and then during summers when I was home from my undergraduate studies at UNC Chapel Hill.
