At Hawthorne Veterinary Clinic we strive to promote the health and well being of your animal companions utilizing an integrative approach to veterinary medicine in an equitable and inclusive environment. We offer a range of practices, including allopathic and herbal medicine, laser therapy and acupuncture. Our clinic is located in Portland, Oregon, which occupies the traditional lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tumwater, Tualatin Kalapuya, Wasco, Molalla, Cowlitz and Watlala bands of the Chinook, and many other Tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River.

We recognize that your animal companion is a unique and complex, yet interdependent individual, and focus our treatments on maintaining or reestablishing your pet's energetic balance. When imbalances do occur, we strive to not only address the symptoms but look for the cause(s) as well.

We value your time and ask that you respect ours by giving us advanced notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your pet's appointment with us. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will occur a cancellation fee of $95 (except in cases of an emergency). In-depth history (including review of previous medical records), physical examination, and two follow up emails are included in the general consultation fee. Additional fees apply if medications, herbs, and supplements are dispensed or lab work is performed.
