I dont typically write reviews but had to in this case.. Dr. Polly Fleckenstein was wonderful, knowledgeable and caring upon our entry with our very sick elderly dog, Gabe. Dr. Robert Pratt, hospitalist, was beyond fantastic in overseeing our babys care while he was hospitalized. Not only is Dr. Pratt very knowledgeable, his level of concern and guidance continued past our dogs stay with phone calls, check-ins and helpful advice and guidance to ensure the best possible outcome for our beloved pet. Humans would be lucky to have this level of professional caring for their health needs!! Thank you doctors and staff at VMC for making a very worrisome few days much more palatable because of your care!

The staff was friendly and professional and Dr. Pratt was amazing. I appreciated being asked at check in if I wanted full diagnostics and treatment or a quality of life evaluation. Dr. Pratt spent a lot of time discussing my cat's condition, talking about options and pros and cons of them, listening to my treatment goals, and helping me decide on a plan for her. He was very empathetic and kind and supportive, and I feel really good about what we decided for my cat.
They got pretty busy and some visibly very sick patients came in after she was seen so we did wait a bit for discharge, but that was expected with emergency care and our door to discharge time was still much better than you'd see at a human ER. I thought the price was reasonable for the services we received. This was my first experience with them and I'd go back for emergency needs.

A wonderful establishment with the best staff! From the moment I called throughout the entire visit, they made sure the process went smoothly. Everyone we met was kind and doing a great job, and our doctor was wonderful. Your animals will get good care here. :

Very unhappy with their Emergency Center. I understand the more critical go first but I waited 5 hours in the parking lot after they said they would do x-ray ,hydration ,nausea injection on my dog, they did a fecal and exam only ! My dog was vomiting, lethargic, diarrhea, vomiting, rectal bleeding, after waiting the 5 hours the staff said it would be another 5 hours or more, my dog was in a room or in a crate long enough, we had drove up a hour in a rain storm.
I told the staff I couldn't wait any longer, I told them to discharge me and check me out, I finally got checked out, they said I refused treatment on my dog, well after 5 hours of waiting those crazy long hours I had to drive back home a hour in a rain storm in the dark almost wrecking my car, The staff was rude ,pushes and I didn't appreciate it., ridiculous waiting that long, they could of done more.

This vet hospital is always high end care! They do wonderful work their for your pet. My dog was pretty bad off but did GREAT under their care! Hes still with me 10 years later!

I've used this clinic a few times for two different pets. The staff here is kind, caring, and very compassionate. My 4lb chihuahua was sadly poisoned by a negligent pest control company. The staff here directed me on exactly what to do in the moment, saw me immediately and, in my opinion, saved her life. I couldn't come into the clinic with my baby due to covid restrictions at the time, which made me anxious, but the staff kept me updated and reassured me via phone throughout the entire procedure.
I felt very confident that my baby was being loved on and cared for. They went the extra mile to make sure my pup had the right dosages of the medications (due to her small size) and explained everything to me in great detail. When I came in for the follow up appointment a month later they waived one of the fees too. Highly recommend this place. Thank you all for taking amazing care of my Charlie.
