Dr. Clary and his staff began seeing our pup (12 years old) a couple of years ago. They have been exemplary. Pup had to have surgery on a cancerous tumor a week or so ago and the level of care and concern they exhibited for her was extremely reassuring. The surgery went well and pup acts as if she's a new person. I think she was even grateful; when we picked her up from surgery her tail was wagging and she jumped up on the tech bringing her to us.the does not happen so I think she gave them 5 stars as well. Thanks to all there.

Our Sheepadoodle, Oakley, was transferred to Live Oak's after he broken leg and required surgery. I was apprehensive, not being familiar with the staff, vets or facility. They were amazing! Dr. Luckett repaired his leg and he is on the mend. The staff and veterinarians are great and friendly. They take the time to explain things to you and are very patient. They always ask if you have any other questions before leaving. The facility is clean and well maintained.

I have seen a lot of negative reviews on yelp for this place. I typically don't take time to write reviews. However I am extremely grateful to Dr. Trent Hohrein for saving my baby! No one in town had openings To see my cat on such short notice. That plus we are 6 hours away from his normal Vet. Accidents happen and pika ate something he should not have. If I had waited for an appointment I would have lost my kitty.
Live oak allowed me to come as a walk in two days in a row. After all diagnostics Dr. Hohrein was confident we needed an emergency exploratory surgery. I was on the fence but his confidence and abilities are the reason my baby is alive today. Thank you Dr. Trent Hohrein May God continue to bless you and your staff! I can't imagine my life without my baby kitty and thanks to you I don't have to!

EDIT: After 4 years I had to bring my dog back for surgery. He had eaten tampons and had already had a surgery to remove them. I took him in because of them doing so well with his back surgery. The only issue I had this time was when I first brought him in the vet tech went into the back and shouted "THAT DOG IS 11 YEARS OLD! WHY WOULD YOU." and I didn't hear the rest, but it upset me. My dog might have been 11, but I still wanted to try and do everything I could to save him. Unfortunately, after the second surgery he passed away.
I would have left 5 stars if I wasn't for that comment. If anyone is looking for a back surgeon I would highly recommend Dr. Clary. Snoop's back legs were going to be paralyzed had he not had the disk surgery. The cost was half the price of the surgeon my vet recommended in San Angelo and he was able to stay however many days he needed to recover without being charged extra. Aside from cost, the staff called me frequently since I had to drive 2 hours away. They were accommodating and took very good care of Snoop. Snoop has since made a full recovery and is walking just fine! Thank you Dr. Clary and your staff for helping my fur baby.
