Puppy and Kitten Wellness Examinations and Vaccinations: Puppies and kittens require 4 sets of vaccinations to help prevent common diseases, such as parvo and distemper for puppies, and various upper respiratory infections for kittens. We begin vaccines at 6 weeks, and they are given every 3 weeks thereafter until the series is finished.

We just wanted to thank you for all you help, treatments, care and advice that you provided us while staying in the area. It is very much appreciated not only by Francine and me, but also Foxy and Poppy. Your practice is the only one that we have attended with our dogs where they are excited to go and can't wait to get inside and get on the scales.

We are out of towners, visiting the area for a month and our older dog became incapacitated and had to be put down. We are so grateful to have found this clinic. Everyone was so kind, caring and very respectful of our situation.

It was the best! Freckles has become cantankerous in her old age and Dr. McInnis and Shane handle her brilliantly, way better than we do. She still continues to have fun and savors the treats Shane always shares with her!

We did spend a lot of money trying to save our pet at Aransas Animal Clinic. Even though our pet did not survive it wasn't anything that anybody could have done to help our little girl. Jennifer and her staff were fantastic and stood by us as we tried everything. I highly recommend this facility for your pet needs. When we get another pet I know where I'm going back to.

My dog was hit by a truck this morning. AAC let us know over the phone they were able to do x-rays, and were ready for us when we got there. He was able to be seen immediately and get the help he needed. It'll be a long recovery (fractured pelvis), but I know he's in amazing hands. Tim was very patient with my dog and helped calm me down by pointing out all the wonderful parts of the clinic that could be used to help my sweet boy.

Peedy needed his 2nd set of puppy shots while we were in Port A. I was very pleased with the clinic, staff and quality of care provided! And the fees were reasonable and affordable.

My friend's senior dog had to be euthanized. Aransas would not let more than one person in the room with him while he passed. They insisted on a face covering. We know that people are not going to read studies on efficacy of certain face coverings. They're just going to insist on some kind of fabric plastered over the face. We also know that people can't see past the face covering preference as the television has programmed fear into the most feeble of minds these days.

If six months after the initial scare family members can't see their love ones in nursing homes across the United States, it's understandable that a vet clinic could and would be just as uncaring. Thank God every business is not like this though. VCA Oso Creek took care of this furbaby and his WHOLE family. They were accommodating, compassionate, and they didn't bark orders about fabric. Please check with different facilities. You, your furbaby, and your family deserve respect during any end of life care. You deserve compassion and not cold-hearted hubris.
