Wellness and Preventative Care
Our wellness programs focus on disease prevention through regular health checks tailored to each pet's life stage, breed, and lifestyle. We create customized vaccination schedules and parasite prevention plans while monitoring developmental milestones in puppies and kittens. Annual and bi-annual exams for adult and senior pets include comprehensive physical assessments and diagnostic testing to maintain optimal health.
Vaccinations
We provide core and noncore vaccinations based on individual risk factors, including rabies, DAPP for dogs, and FVRCP for cats. Our protocols follow AAHA guidelines while considering each pet's lifestyle and exposure risks. We offer vaccine packages for puppies and kittens, with technician follow-up exams available to minimize post-vaccine reactions in pets requiring multiple immunizations.
Dental Services
Our dental care includes complete oral health assessments under anesthesia with digital radiography. We use advanced monitoring equipment during procedures and provide nerve blocks for pain management. Services range from routine cleanings to extractions and periodontal treatments, followed by home care recommendations including brushing techniques and dental diets.
Surgical Procedures
We perform spay/neuter surgeries and soft-tissue procedures in our fully equipped surgical suite. Patients receive continuous monitoring with ECG, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure tracking during anesthesia. Our protocols include IV fluid therapy and thermal support, with post-operative pain management plans tailored to each procedure and patient recovery needs.

We provide urgent care appointments during regular business hours at both locations. For after-hours emergencies, we recommend three local 24-hour veterinary specialists with contact information available on our website.
How do your VIPet Wellness Plans work?
VIPet Plans offer unlimited exams starting at $0.92/day with tiered benefits including discounted vaccines, parasite prevention, and dental cleanings. Plans are customizable for different life stages and can be purchased online or through our office staff.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, and pet insurance plans. Payment is required at the time of service, though we can help process insurance claims for reimbursement. Our online pharmacy offers manufacturer rebates for additional savings.
Are your staff trained in fear-free pet handling?
All team members are Fear-Free Certified to reduce stress during veterinary visits. We use specialized handling techniques, calming pheromones, and quiet waiting areas to create positive experiences for anxious pets and their owners.
Do you offer senior pet care programs?

I'd give Companion Pet Hospital more stars if I could. Amazing staff and super friendly! I'm very happy for a healthy pup, but wouldn't be upset if I had more reasons to visit. Has my dog always had this many nipples?! I better go get them checked out!

Began bringing my new puppy here at 2 months old and I cannot say good enough things about the team at Companion! They all obviously love animals and were very caring and patient while explaining the processes for a new dog and all the questions I had. My puppy ended up having some tummy trouble and they were able to quickly offer suggestions, make a plan, and consistently checked in with phone calls every few days for updates! I would highly recommend them.

My dog has a few issues that make careful care a must. We met Dr. Selzner and she has been our go to Vet since day one. The staff are wonderfully loving to the fur babies and each Dr we have met, has been fabulous. I trust them. I love their fundraisers. I fully endorse the practice.

We took our English Bulldog the first time. He woke up and was unable to walk on 1 leg. They fit us in with an appointment within a few hours. We got there and the courteous, pampering and exceptional care they gave my dog was great. If there was 10 stars I would give it to them. Best vet I have ever been to with this kind of care. Highly Recommended

Dr. Wolff and her team were great! She was very patient and answered all our questions; very knowledgeable and kind. She was also very understanding and willing to work with us in terms of cost/timing/discussing our options/etc.

CPH is probably the best vet my husband and I have experienced. The doctors are so knowledge, they care about our dog, and take their time to walk through any questions. They treat our pup as they are their family. We have been so grateful to their staff and their support. I wish every vet experience was as smooth and loving as CPH!
