Services
Wellness Visits
Annual wellness examinations include comprehensive physical assessments and tailored vaccination protocols. Our veterinarians evaluate eyes, ears, mouth, and internal organs while discussing preventive care strategies. We emphasize early disease detection through routine blood testing and owner education about breed-specific health concerns.
Surgical Procedures
We perform spays, neuters, and complex soft tissue/orthopedic surgeries using modern anesthetic protocols. Pre-operative bloodwork ensures patient safety while advanced monitoring equipment tracks vital signs. Post-operative care includes multi-modal pain management tailored to each pet's specific needs.
Dentals
Professional dental cleanings include ultrasonic scaling above and below gum lines, polishing, and oral health assessments. We address periodontal disease prevention and treatment while educating owners about home care routines. Anesthesia ensures thorough cleaning and patient comfort.
Diagnostics
On-site laboratory capabilities enable rapid blood, urine, and fecal analysis for disease detection. Radiology and ultrasonography provide detailed internal imaging while echocardiography evaluates heart function. These tools support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
Acupuncture
Certified veterinary acupuncture uses targeted needle placement to manage chronic pain and inflammation. This complementary therapy works through nerve stimulation and improved circulation. Initial evaluations determine suitability for conditions like arthritis or post-surgical recovery.

I love this vet! Although this isn't my primary vet, I did have to take my pet here for an emergency one time and luckily they had an appointment available. They were so kind and listened to the situation that was going on and looked over my pets history thoroughly. Even though they were pretty busy and they are usually booked. Im super grateful that they had the time to take care of my pet.

We had a last minute issue with our cat's paw and called to be seen before heading out on vacation (our regular vet couldn't take us). The front desk was wonderful and was able to see our cat before closing. They quickly assessed her and were able to provide wonderful treatment and care! We're extremely grateful for Waugh Chapel Animal Hospital.

The doctors and techs are very good here. On the other hand, dealing with the front of the house is often challenging. We have just had to go for routine vax visits and a spay, which went well, but no experience with acute or emergency situations.
