Dr. Gernhard established the Animal Health Center of Marion County in 1996. She grew up on a farm near Tampa, and graduated from Centre High School before attending Kansas State University. Dr. Gernhard has spent many hours over the years building the practice to serve the communities in and near where she grew up.

Stocker and Feeder Services

Dr. Gernhard at Animal Health Center offers a variety of services for our stocker, backgrounding, and feed yard clients. She can provide you with a handbook she has created that includes instructions for procedures in your barns. Our sister clinic, Tri-County Veterinary Center in Herington, KS, offers in-house testing for BVD PI by either blood sample or ear notch.
