I was elated with the customer service of the reception team and tech team. Paige thoroughly explained the puppy pack that was offered, different pricing, and all included. When we arrived, only one of us was allowed in the building-which was fine-but I forgot my husband had further questions, so I called him while in the exam room. Our tech (Becky?) was just as thorough, informative, and eager to help us out. I didn't get to see the doctor for more than a few minutes because there was an emergency, but I'd like to give some praise to the customer service offered!

I have been going to Sykesville VH for over 20 years. We've had several dogs cared for by them, our latest being our Mastiff Niko. They have provided his care from puppy to senior. He was diagnosed with cancer last year and with their help we were able to give him the best life possible until he could not do it anymore. Even at the end they were so helpful and compassionate, Dr. Easter even offered to come to our home ( as Niko was over 150 lbs).
We decided that her to take him on his last car ride there because he absolutely loved the staff. I would never choose to use another vet because they have been and will always be so very good to our family. And our pups.

Google asked how my recent experience at Sykesville Vet was. first, most of the staff are exceptional individuals offering insight, knowledge, and overall good customer service. Second, it's one of the only vets around where you can guarantee a same-day appointment. HOWEVER, that being said, the vet (Dr. Colewell) has no customer service skills or general respect for the public she's serving. Sure, she helped my dog out, but I've never heard someone berate their employees like she does.
My technician was extremely helpful, but had to leave the room suddenly because the doctor was screaming her name from the other side. It was not a "I need help" scream, it was a demanding scold. The only reason I remember the tech's name is because the doctor was screaming "WANDA" from the office. I also witnessed the doctor tell someone off in the lobby for coming in too early even though they had a face mask on and simply could've been confused. I don't know, I'm all for hard work especially in a busy environment, but you don't need to scream your employee names with disgust, and yell at the patrons who help run your business. 1/5 stars.

This is the last penny I will ever spend at SVC. Upon arrival I called the number on the door after 4 attempts I get someone on the phone ok they are busy I get it. I told them I was here for the appointment and I asked if I can bring the cat in or will they be out to get her. I was told by the secretary to come in. The second I walked in I was treated like I just broke into the place. (Covid policy) The DR rudely asked if I called the receptionist of corse I did there is a sign on the door asking to call and they said to come in.
Maybe a miscommunication but they way the DR conducted herself is pitiful. I'm a business owner myself and In the service industry I would never act like that to a client that's been a paying customer for 16 years. What a joke
