Our dental care services address gum disease, tooth extraction, and oral health maintenance. Using digital radiographs and ultrasonic cleaning tools, we provide preventive and therapeutic treatments. Specialized diets and home care products are recommended to maintain long-term oral health.
Emergency Services
We offer urgent care for critical conditions like trauma, poisoning, and acute illnesses. Our team handles emergencies during operating hours, including surgical interventions for cases like gastric dilatation, pyometra, and urinary obstructions. CPR options are available for cardiac events.
Surgery
Our surgical services range from routine procedures like spaying to complex orthopedic operations. All surgeries use modern anesthesia techniques monitored by experienced staff. Post-operative care includes pain management and follow-up evaluations for optimal recovery.
Diagnostic Imaging
We employ digital radiography, ultrasound, and specialized dental imaging equipment to diagnose internal conditions. Our Fovea digital radiograph machine and ultrasound technology enable detailed visualization of organs and musculoskeletal structures for accurate treatment planning.

We've been bringing our animals here for more than 20 years. The staff is amazing, the doctors knowledgeable and patient, and everyone truly cares about the animals they help.

My cat has super high anxiety, and hates cars. I am disheartened that my local vet charges $40 to clip toe nails.

Dr. Miles has taken wonderful care of our two yellow labs. She answered all our questions and is thorough. We are grateful we have someone we can trust with the health of our fur babies. Thank you!

We have been taking our pets to Penobscot Veterinary Services for years now and they're very caring and compassionate. The little guy in the photo is Petey the Sweetie and when he goes to the vets he always wears his finest tuxedo!

Had to find a Veterinary doctor for our senior citizen kitty. This place has been wonderful. Our cat has a lot of issues with anxiety but the staff handled him so well and he actually came home very happy instead of scared. They were very thorough and their prices are fair. Everyone we met was so kind and I would definitely recommend this Vet if you need to bring your animals for a check up or if urgent medical needs arise.
