I bought a puppy from this facility and I've had my puppy for a year now. We have had nothing but medical issues. She had diarrhea for four months and is now on gastrointestinal food. The pH of her urine is low so she has to have crystals sprinkled on her food twice a day. She develops open lesions on her belly and down her legs that I have to use a topical spray for. Her fur is thinning and it might be allergies but we aren't sure yet. She only weighs 36 pounds and is small for a pure bred Labrador Retriever.

Dr S. Cho-Ta and the Vet Tech Nancy showed such care for my cat who I was sure would be a poster cat for bad behavior. Both of them spoke in quiet tones and even when they thought for sure (anal gland express) that my cat would lose it, she did not. I know that had a lot to do with their demeanor. Dr Cho-Ta answered all my questions (new cat owner) with respect and clarity. He did not push all kinds of extra vaccines on my housecat and that impressed me.
The cost of the exam and the extras my kitty needed was more than fair and so much better than I anticipated. I am so relieved that I found Care and that my cat has Dr Cho-Ta ! Oh, and I was referred by a friend who brings her three rescued Pitties to Care.

This 5 star review is particularly for the care provided to our cat by Dr Pollock. Our cat was brought into care because she wasnt eating for a couple days. Through extensive testing it was found that she had a very rare disease that destroys red blood cells in her bone marrow. Now with medication she is stable and is living a very happy life. I have no doubt that Dr Pollocks recommendations and care saved her life. We can not thank you enough.

Tabatha was great to interact with when we had to have Boomer, our beloved family member, cross the Rainbow Bridge. She was professional and empathetic, and she seemed to feel our pain. Thank you.

I am at a loss for words with this place. First of all, prices are way too high. Total bill was over $1,000 this week, i took her to another vet where they did the same thing for $250. They are super bad at communicating both in person and over the phone. Barely answers any questions or explains anything. Sent me home with records and x-rays that i had to figure out myself. After I had called and asked for them 3 times.
Almost made me pay $6,000 for an unnecessary surgical procedure that costs $2,500 at a different vet. They seem to only care about the money instead of the well-being of your pet. Front desk staff is very rude. Overall, this place is rude, communication is poor, and wayyyyy to expensive. I will be going to a different vet from now on.

Care animal hospital in Arlington heights has to be the worst vet you can take your pets to. From being unhelpful with explaining everything going on to suggesting unnecessary procedures. They are just totally unprofessional and only seem to care about money. Just for blood work and X-rays it was near $700 and then we had to get more X-rays 2 days later for another $300. If you take your pets to this animal graveyard hoping for them to help get your pets better I highly recommend you check out other places because this place isnt it.

The owner of this establishment is money hungry and runs a puppy mill. They overdose pets and try to hide it. the staff is treated poorly. The dogs are treated poorly. Staff is Underpaid. They would rather choose to euthanize a dog that is perfectly healthy than to euthanize a dog that cannot eat or hardly stand. they neglect their animals. None of the staff is actually trained. None of the vet techs are certified. There's a flea infestation. Don't take your animals here.
