I noticed that others have left reviews regarding difficulties with the prescription process, so I wanted to add my similar experience. Every time we have requested prescription refills, there is a complete breakdown in communication with the vet staff. They don't return calls, they don't call you to let you know the status of the refill. This has been consistent. Communication at this vet is terrible across the board-it is very frustrating whenever we try to call to schedule an appointment, refill prescriptions, get updates on lab results.
The staff simply doesn't communicate well or effectively. As others have stated, the vets are skilled and are great with the animals, but the administrative staff makes the whole experience incredibly stressful.

Great experience, everyone was nice and my dog seemed to want to go back I think they gave him treats :. My dog Billie had to have an echo and had to fast I thought he was going to return sad, shaking, and hungry but he wanted to go back to the back street they brought him out lol. We got 2 reports and suggestions from the doctor doing the echo and the doctor at the vet clinic. I feel he was well taken care of but for the purposes of an honest review im giving 4 stars, only complaint is the area which is very nice had a lot of traffic so a little inconvenient to get in and out of and it seemed pricey; although not the priciest, but it think prices everywhere are going up. I'll definitely be using them again for regular care.

Dr. Miller and his team were so kind, compassionate, patient and thorough! We are so glad we chose Rice Village Animal Hospital to take our puppy to for his first checkup. We will be transferring the care of our kitten here too!

What can I say about a place that is staffed with some of the very most caring, professional, knowledgeable, loving people who give their best to each and every animal? They have been the veterinarians to my 18 year old, indoor only, beloved cat Amelia since the day I got her. I would never think of taking her anywhere else! I have such total trust in every member of the staff from administration, to nurses, to the vets!
These are people who will treat you and your special animal family member as if you and yours were family. No major corporation behind these doors; just professionals totally dedicated to providing your loved ones with the very best. God bless you all! Amelia is 18 and still doing great due to the excellent care she has received at this wonderful facility!
