I've been taking my dogs to Dunnelon Animal Hospital for years. When they broke out in rashes I didn't think twice all 4 went. They said it was an allergy and gave them shots and meds. Not once did they ask me about what treats they were eating. I started watching my best friends dog within days he developed a rash on his paws. We talked about it but didn't make a connection until we realized I was giving him my treats the only new food he's had in years. Golden Rewards has been under investigation with the USDA since 2013. They know they are seriously harming and killing dogs they just can't find the link. I will be filing my complaint with the USDA if you withhold my dogs records from them I'll be slamming you with a lawsuit. You've done enough harm to my dogs and I'm signing my name to this review. I have to live with what I did to them so are you.

We took our cat to Dunnellon Animal Hospital, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff is exceptionalfriendly, caring, and highly professional. They took wonderful care of our fur baby and made us feel completely at ease throughout the visit. From now on, this is the only place we will trust with our cat's care. I am not one who writes reviews typically. Ive been going to Dunnellon Animal Hospital for quite a while now, and hadnt had any problems until they went into corporate status.
They are no longer a office of friendly neighbors, they are strictly corporate and will not bend to help you
My dog is late on his medication because of their failure to hear me and to make sure they do whatever they can do to help him get his medication on time.
They will give you a prescription if youre in the office, but I am out of state right now, which is forcing me to purchase it from somewhere else I dont want to purchase it from.which of course is costing me more money.
I dont like being forced into anything I dont want to do, I was perfectly happy with the place i was getting his heartworm medication from and now they will not work with anybody else as they did for the last four years and its all because they joined a corporation.
I showed them loyalty, but they showed that I am nothing but a number along with my pet.

There are literally no words to describe this wonderful experience at Dunnellon Animal Hospital. My semi-feral cat "Orphy" was welcomed with open arms for neutering surgery, after I had him trapped instead of his sister "SuziQ" who will be next. The staff is simply awesome. Kindness and compassion from start to finish.

We had our first appointment with DR Morgan.....absolutely love this Doc! We will most definitely be bringing our zoo for further appointments. The Techs were all very pleasant and obviously love their jobs! And of course the price was way better than I expected! Most Definitely recommend any one looking for a new Vet to check them out! We are very pleased as is our old dog!

Brought my cat in for new client visit and RX refill. I was amazed I was able to get an appointment the same day. The staff members I interacted with were warm, welcoming, friendly, and professional. The Tech and Doctor were great and my cat received a new nickname given to him by the DoctorLuscious. We are definitely a repeat client. I highly recommend!

I took my dog, Manny, to the Dunnellon Animal Hospital for the first time. I was super impressed by the place! It is EXTREMELY well run and Dr. Adams did a GREAT job at looking after my dog. I was very, very impressed by the whole operation. Everyone is very professional and does their job so well, that I will be back when Manny or any of my other dogs need care. Dr Taylor treated me with utmost care, called my mommy to let her know I have very high blood pressure, I am blind since lastnight, but as my very caring pediatrician he has recommended a great Opthmologist to see if I can be sighted again. My mom and I are so grateful to Dunnellon Animal care for caring for my emergency needs!!

Friendly, Quick, Prices are reasonable and loves your pet. My dog Grizzly has been going to this vet since we moved here three years ago. They are always so kind and welcoming when we arrive. They are VERY upfront with prices of procedures and medications. They also lay out your options, so you can make a decision based on your pets needs and your budget.

I just moved to the area and was very worried about choosing a new veterinary practice. I read reviews and spoke with my new neighbors with pets. Again and again Dunnellon Animal Hospital came up as the best practice in the area. And I can see why everyone brags about the vets, techs and office help at Dunnellon Animal Hospital. They go the extra mile in everything they do.

1st visit as we just moved from out of state. Had to get the nails trimmed on our 2 full grown pitties. Not only is the staff amazing their pricing is some of the best we have seen. They went over all of our dogs records and go us set up with appointments for all needed upcoming visits. Top notch staff.

No longer service outside of office. Require dogs to get rabies yearly but if you request three year vaccine it comes from the same bottle. Got figure, looks like greed to me. No longer encourage emergency visits redirecting to Ocala Emergency Clinic. Close immediately at 7 pm, don't arrive past closing as no one will be there. No overnight holding of surgery patients. No late Saturday or Sunday hours, go to Ocala. Now owned by a corporation. Huge turnover of staff, many in experienced.

We have been going to Dunnellon Animal Hospital for 14 years and have never been disappointed. We appreciate the way they conduct business and love the way they care about our dog! This is my second review for Dunnellon Animal Hospital. On April 16, 2022 we had to put our sweet dog, Shadow, down. The staff and doctors at this hospital are such caring people. Dr. Mormon was the first doctor to see Shadow at age 10 weeks.
She contracted Parvo and with his help we were able to save her. She led a wonderful life for almost 15 years. He was also the last doctor to see her. He was compassionate and understanding and knew she was suffering. We will always thank everyone at Dunnellon Animal Hospital for their friendliness, compassion and professionalism and when we get our next puppy, Dr. Mormon will make another new friend.

I found an injured cat on the road in front of my home. Not being familiar with veterinarians in the area, I just started making calls. Dunnellon Animal Hospital answered right away and offered to see the cat as soon as I could get him there. Despite being extremely busy, the cat was seen quickly and Dr Morgan sat down and informed me of his findings and recommendations in no time. Looking back on the experience, I'm still very touched by the level of professionalism and compassion that were shown to both myself and the cat. Thank you to the entire staff for being so caring!

Dr Brian Moorman, DVM checked my pet and gave her the injections she needed. She is recovering now. They are a great & caring staff, and truly care about your pet's well-being. Highly recommend them!

I've been taking my pets to Dunnellon Animal Hospital since 1998 when it was just Dr. Mack in a small office. The office has grown over the years and I've had the pleasure of meeting several of the vets over the years. My visit yesterday was for my dog to get her vaccinations and a spa day with bath and ear cleaning, and nails clipped. Staff was friendly and efficient and Dr. Morgan was thorough in his exam and explained everything to me. I highly recommend!

Very helpful and caring staff. They made sure my older dog was comfortable and not scared of the surroundings. They was very loving towards my dog which made her less stressed about being at the vet. They took the time to explain my dogs condition and the treatment needed and even wrote down step by step instructions for when I got home and said to call them if I had any questions at all. I highly recommend them for any of your pets needs. I will be making this my primary place to take my pet and future pets. Thank you so much.

Dunnellon Animal Hospital treated me and my pet as if I had been using them for years. I had my pup fixed (neutered) and they were quick to get me in and even quoted me their prices, called prior to appointment with instructions and time of arrival. When I arrived Wendy was very helpful getting us checked in and handled all records from my vet in Maryland.
I felt very comfortable leaving my puppy with them. Dr, Morgan called with update after procedure and explained future care and when I could pick up my pup. Great experience!

First time patient for my pup. Brought in due to a deep cut on his leg and worried about infection setting in. I was able to get a rather quick appointment (24 hours after calling). They took great care of my babes. Gave us antibiotics and topical spray to keep infection from starting. I have set up an appointment for both my dogs to get check up/vaccines. Well natured people with responsible pricing. ($116 dollars out the door) and I know my pup will be ok from his run in with the barb wire. Would definitely recommend.
