We took our cat in for his eye. During his appointment we talked about how he had some black head son his chin. It was not hurting him or a big deal at all. The doctor recommended that we go get face wipes for a human that contain salicylic acid. We went and got them and started using them, pretty much immediately his chin started smelling and cracking open. A little bit of research and we find out these wipes and in particular the Salicylic acid are extremely toxic and harmful to cats. His chin is exactly what they say will happen if you use these wipes on your cat When I called them to tell them they double down and say it was the right treatment and and it's just coincidence that he's experiencing the exact symptoms of using a harmful face wipes. They told me not to believe the science behind any of it and that they know more than the basic facts of chemistry. 700 dollars later they give us a tube of ointment they had on hand. It blows my mind they had me use a a toxic substance on my cat and cause him serious harm. I'd stay away from this place, they are extremely dishonest business. They never took any accountability or did anything to make it right.

Absolutely love this Vet! A new fur baby brings tons of anxiety for some. The staff made sure all my questions were answered and we were treated so well. Highly recommend this vet.

I really want to thank the doctors and staff. My dog was not doing well and they really tried to help. She passed away and the staff sent me a card. It really brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for showing me that you really cared.

Dr. Erin and Dr. Stevenson are each so wonderful, as is everyone we've interacted with on staff. Our cat has been a patient for a few years now. We were delighted to find a vet clinic that was so cat-centric. Our friends with dogs are super happy here, but I have never been to a place with any of my cats in the past that had such a deep understanding of cats.

Our kitty had surgery here recently and the entire process was smooth, the people involved professional and compassionate, and every aspect of the care emboldened us with security that our cat was very well tended to.

I was referred to this vet's office from a neighbor, it's maybe 5min from our house. The staff has been super friendly and helpful with any questions/concerns I've had- I have only taken our pup 2 times. Not sure how their rates compare but they do offer a lifetime vaccine deal that seemed very reasonable to me! They have my continued business so far.

Clear, communicative, and compassionate care. Brought my pup in for an emergency visit, as he had lost his appetite and wasn't acting his normal mischievous self. Ends up he was in a chronic state of emergency. Their quick actions and guidance saved his life, but at no point did I feel an ounce of panic because they explained everything so calmly and clear. Can't recommend their services enough

This is a really great vet office, everyone is extremely kind and caring. We've had some recent health issues with one of our cats and they really helped us through the entire process. We will continue to bring all of our pets here.

After being rejected for my dog acting his age at banfield I came here. Quick check in excellent staff and despite banfield attempting to dissuade them from treating my puppy they took beautiful care of him. This is my new favorite vet clinic and it's actually affordable as well

I love Bear Valley! They are professional and caring and my dog loves their staff! My dog had a heart murmur and they made me feel comfortable and scheduled an echocardiogram and helped get her on track with the right medication.

I am truly impressed with the level of care I receive from Bear Valley Vet. I switched to them from another vet a couple of months ago, and since then my pet cat has had a number of health scares. Dr. King and the rest of the staff at Bear Valley have gone above and beyond to ensure he got the care he needed. Dr. King spent time researching different treatment options and called me multiple times to discuss her findings, and once we settled on a medicine, she even found resources for me to ensure my pet could get it at a more affordable price. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.

Receiving flowers after having to put down our cat was the most amazing and touching experience. Thank you so much for caring so much for animals and we will be returning customers.

After grinding up what seemed to be an endless slight grade up hill for 2 hours. All so my beloved could make an attempt at gainful employment. Her desire to work with animals (why she's with me I assume) drove us forward on our journey. After what I feel was the longest interview in all of history. We found ourselves at this center to procure something edible.

I chose to await her return outside. When I saw her again she had squired an assortment of sushi for me to consume. This act filled me with both food and joy. She's truly amazing, but my sushi farts were not.

Dr. Stevenson and Dr. Newett have been treating my geriatric cat for several years and have been spot on with her treatment. Besides old age and having kidney disease, all the care she has gotten keeps her a happy cat. As she prepares for her 22nd birthday, I know she would not be here if not for the wonderful care she has received. Would not take her anywhere else and recommend to anyone wanting compassionate CAT care.

I've been to a few vet clinics in Lakewood and this one is by far the best one. Very friendly, professional, and educated staff. I certainly trust them and would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

Dr. Stevenson and the vet staff are always very friendly and helpful. They always answer any questions I have, even if its a phone call regarding our pets. Our dog is always excited to see the staff, which is always a good thing, considering she gets shots almost every time she goes.

Quick trip for Bordettela vaccine. Friendly and efficient as ever. Everyone there always treats my dogs as if they were theirs and the only dogs in Denver.

I'm so glad I found this place and love the staff. I can tell they honestly care about my dog and his care. I have a senior dog with several issues to work around and they do diligent research and communicate with me to ensure we are making the best decisions for him. I definitely recommend this care center!
