Capital Veterinary Clinic was established in 1978 by Dr. Curtis Sanders and operated out of a small two exam room hospital and a barn for many years. Dr. Matthew Scroggs took over the practice in 2005 and built a brand new 5,000 square foot, two story, state-of-the art hospital just across the street from the original location.

Did you know that we gladly board pets for our established clients? We offer cat suites in a separate quiet room and have many sizes of dog cages and runs. All the kennels and suites are located indoors and are climate-controlled. Our K-9 quests are walked and have supervised play time outside in a safe and secure fenced yard.

We work on an appointment basis! Just give us a call to schedule an appointment for your pet at a time and date that works for you. Same day appointments are limited. We apologize for the inconvenience and will try to make arrangements for your pet(s) to receive the care they need. Will there be an exam fee with annual vaccinations or simple treatments such as a cortisone injection?
