The FDA has released a report linking Canine Dialated Cardiomyopathy to certain brands of foods. We strongly recommend reading this report and if your pet is currently on any of the brands listed, please make the transition to another brand of food such as Royal Canin, Science Diet, Purina, or Iams. It would be best to transition foods over the course of 3-5 days to prevent possible gastrointestinal upset.

I was born in Staten Island, NY and raised in South Florida. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Biology from Florida State University. I spent a year in Liverpool, England attending the Royal College of Veterinary Medicine before transferring to the University of Florida, School of Veterinary Medicine.
