Arden Animal Hospital is a well-established( family owned since 1979), full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.

The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

I received my D.V.M with honors, from the UC Davis in 2013. Prior to veterinary school I was a biology lecturer at San Diego State University. I am interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially dermatology and surgery. I was born and raised in Sacramento, only 3 miles from Arden Animal Hospital!

Growing up my life always involved animals, from finding lost dogs (even some that weren't), to participating in a World Championship Vaulting competition held in Vienna Austria. Today I pride myself in helping the Arden Animal Hospital team achieve lasting client relationships with personalized care and client education.

We are Grant and Heather Kendall, and we are honored to carry on the traditions and values of our father, Tom Kendall, DVM. Our dad joined Arden Animal Hospital is 1972 and purchased the clinic in 1979 where he spent over 40 years practicing veterinary medicine. When he became ill with pancreatic cancer in late 2014, as a family, we decided it was important for us to continue his legacy to ensure that Arden Animal Hospital continues to grow and serve our Sacramento community.Our father taught us important life lessons that have not only shaped our personal values, but are also the cornerstone of Arden Animal Hospital.
