Hunter Stallion Station Equine Veterinary Clinic was designed and built by Robert Hunter, DVM. With over 30 years of experience in equine medicine, surgery and reproduction, Dr. Hunter has taught college courses in equine reproduction and equine health management. He specializes in equine reproduction and enjoys the daily challenges of diagnosing infertile mares and stallions and ending with a successful pregnancy.

Hunter Stallion Station has a fully staffed equine hospital and offers in-house management of hospitalized patients, equine lay-ups, custom tailored rehabilitation programs, and in-house laboratory services. A large round pen is available for pre-purchase and/or lameness evaluations. The barn is immaculately clean, with an automatic fly control system that helps with disease control and treatment.

Hunter Stallion Station Equine Veterinary Clinic offers full services for foals, from birth through weaning. At Hunter Stallion Station we believe the weaning process does not have to be stressful for the mare or foal. Transitioning into the separation over a minimum 5 day time period is best for both, and proper nutrition to stabilize the gut should also be considered.
Equine Sports Medicine

Hunter Stallion Station is happy to announce that we are expanding to include a sports medicine division. Our goal is to keep your equine athletes happy and healthy in and out of the show ring all year long. Our Performance Evaluations are wellness exams for equine athletes. They include a comprehensive physical exam (looking at teeth, eyes; listening to the heart, lungs and abdomen; limb palpations), a brief neurologic examination, and a brief lameness evaluation (Watching the horse move on the straight and the circle).
