San Juan Animal Hospital Our hospital was established in 1965, and is one of two practices in Orange County to have 25 or more years of continuous membership in the AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association). This group is reserved for those small animal hospitals who maintain the highest standards of patient care, diagnostic tests, pharmacy control, client service, human resource management, medical record care and facility upkeep. We pride ourselves on a long legacy of recommending the standard of care that falls into the question, "What would I do if this were my dog or cat?"

Vaccinations
Report
We have all been raised with the understanding that vaccinations can protect our pets from disease. Vaccines have unfortunately been associated with increased risks toward developing some serious internal problems, including cancer and immune-mediated diseases. Our profession is working on defining the line between "over-vaccinating" and "under-vaccinating".
