Deer Park Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary practice accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 1983. We provide veterinary medical care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets including birds, ferrets, iguanas, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small mammals and reptiles. We are OPEN for regular hours. We will no longer be requiring our staff to wear facial masks at this time. If you would like you to print forms online before your arrival, the forms can be found on the FORMS page.

Preventative Services

Examinations are an opportunity for your veterinarians to assess your pet's overall health, discuss any changes we see, and educate and update you on advancements in veterinary care. During our exam we will check your pet's eyes, ears, teeth and gums, heart, lungs, skin, joints and muscles, abdomen, and lymph nodes.
Internal Medicine And Diagnostics

Radiographs allow us to visualize the bones and soft tissue of your pet. This is an immediate diagnostic value to aid in determining the presence and significance of disease. Our doctors have been trained in ultrasound technology to further commit the most exceptional care to our clients. Enables assessment of the heart's function and provides an evaluation for any other abnormalities associated with the heart and lungs. The ability to run a blood profile in house can be life saving in situations of emergencies.
Surgery

Our surgeries include preanesthestic bloodwork to ensure the safety of your pet before going under anesthesia. We utilize an IV Catheter, and IV Fluids when your pet is under full anesthesia. To encourage the comfortable post operative experience we promote superior pain management protocol. In providing the best quality care for our patients, we are able to conduct many general surgerys if the situation arises. In special cases we are equipped to perform orthopedic surgeries as well. We have invested in a CO2 laser to aid in surgical procedures.
