Animal Eye Doctors was established in 2007 in Estero, Florida. In 2007, Dr Warren joined with Dr Dan Wolf of Tampa, Florida, who had been providing veterinary ophthalmology services to southwest Florida on a part time basis, to make the practice into the first full time ophthalmic specialty practice in southwest Florida. The doctors and staff of Animal Eye Doctors are dedicated to providing our clients with advanced techniques in diagnostics, treatment, and patient care relating to eye conditions and diseases.

What to expect for your first visit
Report
During your first visit, our nurses will ask questions about your pet's medical history and may perform preliminary tests (tear test, glaucoma test). Then our Doctor will examine your pet with specialized ophthalmic equipment including the slit lamp (to examine the front of the eye) and indirect ophthalmoscope (to examine the retina).

Animal Eye Doctors is pleased to accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and CareCredit. CareCredit extends special financing options that you may not get with other credit cards. We do not accept checks. If your pet is covered by pet health insurance, please check with your insurance company for their reimbursement policies.

Gina Stancel is an award winning photographer specializing in capturing your pet's "one of a kind" look and personality. Her pictures have been published in both local and national publications. As an avid supporter of all animals, Gina is an active volunteer with numerous animal shelters in Southwest Florida.
