Dr. Lisa Beagan is a 1995 graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She began her veterinary career as a partner in an equine practice in Maine. She opened Mobile Pet Vet in 2003 to pursue her passion for small animal internal medicine.

She began her veterinary career as a partner in an equine practice in Maine, and spent her workdays making farm calls throughout the beautiful New England countryside in a well-stocked truck. She also worked at a small animal referral practice on her days off.

We provide best-in-class veterinary care in our state-of-the-art mobile pet clinic or right in your home. Working with a house call vet is easy for pet owners and less stressful for dogs and cats. We offer house call visits for vaccination, sick and well visits, laboratory testing, puppy and kitten care, care for older pets, euthanasia, and eastern medicine including acupuncture and herbal medicine. We refer patients for surgical procedures, radiographs, ultrasounds and MRI to several referral hospitals and partners.

What to Expect
Report
Most appointments last about an hour from start to finish. We strive to make the time your pet is being examined and treated as short as possible to reduce any stress your pet may have. We utilize treats and try to "sneak" in our examinations and treatments as much as possible. Most of our dog patients want to remain in the van after their visit and sometimes getting them out requires some coaxing.
