Services
Exotic Pet Care
We provide specialized veterinary care for birds, reptiles, and small mammals. Our services include wellness exams, spaying/neutering, dental care, and surgical procedures tailored to exotic pets' unique needs. Annual checkups assess habitat requirements, nutrition, and preventive health to ensure optimal care for these specialized animals.
Ultrasound
Our diagnostic ultrasound services offer non-invasive internal imaging for pets. This technology helps identify abdominal abnormalities, organ issues, and soft tissue damage without radiation exposure. Pre-procedure preparation ensures clear imaging for accurate diagnosis of conditions like tumors or blockages.
Wellness Exams
Comprehensive wellness exams include physical assessments, parasite checks, and dental evaluations. We monitor weight, skin health, and vital signs while offering nutritional counseling. Senior pets receive biannual exams with bloodwork to detect early signs of diabetes, kidney disease, or thyroid issues.
Vaccinations
Customized vaccination plans protect pets from core diseases like rabies, distemper, and panleukopenia. Lifestyle-specific vaccines address risks from boarding, outdoor exposure, or travel. Puppies/kittens receive series vaccinations while adults get boosters based on individual risk factors and local regulations.
Microchipping
Permanent microchip implantation ensures pet recovery if lost. The quick, minimally invasive procedure places chips readable by animal shelters and veterinary clinics. We emphasize updating contact information in databases to maximize reunification chances for both indoor and outdoor pets.

I spoke on the phone with one of their receptionists for at least 20 minutes while she sympathetically listened to my worries about my 14 year old Labrador health issues. This woman was great to me and if I lived closed I would take my dog the them in a heart beat! Thank you for your conversation!

We have taken two dogs there over almost 30 years. A fantastic competent group here. From Dr Paul, Dr Chris and now Dr Niki, all very nice and caring. Our Bichon was 16 when she left us and our Cockapoo will be 17 in 6 months. You really can't do better than Kronenwetter Vets.

I have doctored with KVC for nearly 20 years - the doctors and staff have been there for me through the good times and the very sad times. Everyone who works there shows true compassion for pets and their human parents. They have always been accommodating for those unexpected medical issues as well as for routine preventive care. KVC truly understands that our furry friends are more than pets - they are family.
