Services
Preventative Care
Our preventative care programs follow AAHA guidelines for puppy/kitten, adult, and senior pet health. Services include bi-annual exams, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite screening, and monthly preventatives for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. We create customized care plans that address nutrition, dental health, and early disease detection through bloodwork and urinalysis. This proactive approach helps extend pets' lifespans while reducing long-term healthcare costs.
Surgical Procedures
We perform a wide range of surgical procedures using modern anesthetic protocols and monitoring equipment. Our services include spaying/neutering, soft tissue surgeries, dental extractions, and treatment for traumatic injuries. Pre-surgical bloodwork ensures patient safety, while post-operative pain management and follow-up care promote proper healing. Our surgical team stays updated on the latest techniques through continuing education programs.
Dental Treatments
Our dental services address periodontal disease through professional cleanings, digital radiography, and extractions when necessary. We use ultrasonic scalers and polishing tools to maintain oral health, which prevents systemic infections affecting the heart and kidneys. Clients receive home care guidance including brushing techniques and dental diets. Severe cases receive referrals to board-certified veterinary dentists.
Pain Management
We develop comprehensive pain management plans for pets with arthritis, post-surgical conditions, or chronic illnesses. Treatments combine pharmaceuticals, laser therapy, and lifestyle modifications to improve mobility and comfort. Our team educates owners on recognizing pain indicators like reduced activity or changes in appetite, ensuring timely intervention for improved quality of life.
Emergency Services
We provide emergency care during regular business hours for critical conditions like trauma, poisoning, or breathing difficulties. Our staff stabilizes patients using IV fluids, oxygen therapy, and diagnostic imaging before initiating treatment. For after-hours emergencies, we maintain partnerships with local 24-hour facilities and provide referral information to ensure continuous care for pets in crisis situations.

Absolutely wonderful experience. From walking in, all the receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. Caitlynn (CC) and Dr. Edelle were so great with my puppy Harper and made her experience getting shots a happy one We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Was 11 minutes late for appointment with no dogs at curb check in or in waiting room and one dog in office yet I was told to reschedule. Never asked me why I was late. Covid practice had no camera and little feedback was provided after dog was whisked away. For a different appointment the vet was 25 minutes late and I waited. Front desk staff has been wonderful but their vets have been only average until now. Im alerting others to to the lack of courtesy. I have moved to another practice.

I've been taking my long hair cat to get groomed for a several years now and they've always taken such good care of her and done exactly what I asked for (the cutest lion haircut ever and it really cools her off in the summer time when it gets hot in my house). I recently decided to change vets and heard good things about the ones here so I gave it a shot and I'm so happy with changing over to this center. Dr. Edelle gave me detailed results and talked me through everything that she was doing. I truly appreciate the care and attentiveness that was provided.

They are ALWAYS kind, understanding and patient. They take their time talking with you and making sure your pet is in good health. They thoroughly explained what everything was for and why they felt it would beneficial. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a Vet.

VCMC was recommended to me by a member of the rescue group from where I initially fostered Mojo in 2020. Their concern, compassion, and professionalism made it an easy decision to continue with their services once I formally adopted him. I'm appreciative of treatments, advice, and thorough follow-up contacts and am very confident with every staff member I've met so far.

We just had our first appointment with the Veterinary Center of Morris County, and were very happy with the service they provided. With Covid protocols in place, we were not allowed to come into the office, but we called when we got there, and they came out directly and got our 2 cats for their annual exam. I love that they took the cats at their appointment time (no waiting). And the communication was great at every step of the way. Would definitely recommend them!
