Dr. Hyatt, a Kingsport native, is a 1970 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. After graduation he served two years in the US Army Veterinary Corps. In 1972 he started Colonial Heights Animal Hospital. Dr. Hyatt has served as president of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and also served a term on the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.

Acupuncture is a form of complementary or alternative medicine for pets. Acupuncture involves the placement of small needles in various points along the animal's body. The procedure is painless with no side effects and pets enjoy the treatment. Acupuncture is designed to help the body heal itself by utilizing natural energy known as "qi".
Dr. Kristen Arnold

Dr. Arnold is originally from Burlington, KY, however she has family in Knoxville, TN and has always admired the east TN area. She completed her undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University then graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. During veterinary school, she developed strong interests in preventative medicine, dermatology and surgery. Her and husband, Christian, just recently moved to Johnson City with their two energetic German Shorthaired Pointers, River and Moose.

Kellie has worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Colonial Heights Animal Hospital since 2000. Kellie is married has two children, Kyla and Eli and currently lives in Gray. She has a Yorkie named Bailey and a Great Dane named Bella. In her spare time Kellie love spending time with her family and going to the beach.
