Veterinary Specialty Center The safety measures we are reestablishing ensure our continued ability to provide care to the 50,000+ pets we have seen since the pandemic began. We Need our entire team healthy in order to provide the optimal level of care that we pride ourselves on every day at VSC. Upon arrival for an appointment or emergency, simply scan or text your specific parking space sign to check in and share your exact location.

We're excited to announce that we will be moving into a brand new facility in Bannockburn. We understand that the primary obstacle to providing the care, culture, and collaboration that we pride ourselves on is our current hospital facility.

Who We Are
Report
Veterinary Specialty Center is the first veterinary hospital in the United States to become a Certified B Corporation. That, through their products, practices, and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and work to benefit all. To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.
Firsts and Innovations
Report
At Veterinary Specialty Center we believe that the enormous impact of the high-tech, state-of-the-art services we provide compels us to expand our mission. We not only want VSC to be an organization that is good but an organization that does good; for our patients, clients, referring veterinarians, staff, community and the environment.
Locations
Report
Along with offering our services at our main location in Buffalo Grove, we offer various specialty services at our Rehabilitation and Integrative Care facility one block west of our main hospital. This location is an extension of Veterinary Specialty Center and operates the same way we do in our main facility - we treat patients and return them to the care of their family's veterinary practice when treatment is completed.
Pet Owners
Report
Veterinary Specialty Center is a specialty and emergency veterinary practice. For pet families, that means your primary care veterinarian will handle preventative care and most medical treatments for your pet. Specialists are needed when your pet needs more advanced treatment - just like in human medicine when you need advanced diagnostics or a specialist to diagnose and treat a more complicated case.
