Our Team

Dr. Tom was the founder of Orchard Mesa Veterinary Hospital. He graduated from Colorado State University with his doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1978. Before moving to Grand Junction, Dr. Melzer practiced large and small animal veterinary medicine in Cottage Grove, OR and Franktown, CO. In 1982, Dr. Melzer and his family moved to the Grand Valley and opened the Orchard Mesa Veterinary Clinic.
