Services
General Wellness
Our wellness exams detect health issues early through comprehensive physical evaluations. Services include parasite prevention, nutrition counseling, and customized vaccination schedules. We emphasize proactive care to extend pets' healthy lifespans while educating owners about home care and wellness indicators.
Dentistry
Annual dental cleanings and oral exams prevent periodontal disease and systemic infections. We use modern anesthetic protocols and digital imaging to ensure safe procedures. Our team addresses tooth decay, gum disease, and oral pain management for improved pet comfort and health.
Surgery
We perform soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries using advanced monitoring equipment. Procedures include spaying/neutering, tumor removals, and fracture repairs. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork and post-operative care ensure patient safety while laser therapy options aid recovery.
Diagnostic Services
In-house lab work and imaging capabilities enable rapid diagnosis. Ultrasound and radiography equipment help identify internal issues while blood tests detect organ dysfunction. Timely diagnostics allow immediate treatment planning for acute and chronic conditions.
End of Life Care
Compassionate euthanasia options prioritize pet comfort during difficult transitions. We offer private consultation spaces and memorialization guidance. Cremation services with individual return of ashes provide closure while staff support extends to bereavement counseling resources.

Started going here when our regular vet still wasn't allowing us to come in masked during Covid-19. I have one anxious pup that I was not handing off from car as that would be unnecessarily traumatic for her. So, far we like Longmeadow and they have ways to help save us money on medication and multi-animal homes which is was unexpected and very helpful. We will continue to go here. We've been here for about a year so far and all the staff has been polite and very helpful and kind to our babies on routine visits and vaccination appointments.

Needed a vet to see our one kitten, Friday night could not get help. Sat called Long Meadow and got an appointment for 10:40. This is the second time they have come through for us. Thanks, I highly recommend them!

My pets are children to me, very very dear to my heart. My dear Teddy Bear cat was in a terrible way, not able to eat and had labored breathing. Although in my heart I knew I would probably not go home with him after going to the vet, I trusted the staff at Long meadow Animal Veterinary to give the most honest, most compassionate and professional prognosis. They are the best one could ever hope for. Sweet Teddy Bear is now at peace asleep, and while my heart aches, I know I did my best, all the way till the end. Thank you so much

I called to make an appointment for a new pet that I have and was told that they are not accepting new patients. I have taken my animals here for years I understand not taking on new clients but my other pets are established at this practice. So I was forced to make an appointment with another practice for my new pet and will now be transferring my other pets as well so that I will have them all at one practice. I have always been satisfied with the care I am just disappointed .
