Dr. Broussard opened Broussard Veterinary Clinic in 1986 with a location on Ambassador Caffery. That location was then known as Ambassador Veterinary Clinic. 8 years later, after successfully growing his clinic and needing more room to be able to expand his services, he moved his clinic to their current location.

Richard Broussard, a 1981 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, started Broussard Veterinary Clinic in August of 1986 on Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, Louisiana.
