Services
General Wellness
Our preventive care programs include annual checkups, vaccinations, and health screenings to maintain pet wellness. We offer age-specific protocols for puppies, kittens, adults, and seniors. Early disease detection through routine exams helps prevent costly treatments while ensuring pets maintain optimal health through tailored nutrition and exercise plans.
Dentistry
Comprehensive dental services include cleanings, extractions, and oral surgery under anesthesia. We use advanced imaging to diagnose periodontal disease and provide preventive care education. Our team performs both routine and complex dental procedures to alleviate pain and maintain oral health, which directly impacts overall pet wellness.
Parasite Control
We offer customized parasite prevention plans for fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites. Our staff educates owners on regional risks and seasonal threats. Diagnostic testing identifies existing infestations while preventive medications protect pets from common parasites that cause serious health complications when left untreated.
Diagnostic Services
In-house laboratory capabilities enable rapid bloodwork, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We utilize digital radiography and ultrasound for internal organ assessment. Specialized tests like thyroid panels and cardiac screenings help diagnose chronic conditions. Our diagnostic approach ensures accurate treatment plans for both acute and chronic illnesses.
End of Life Care
We provide compassionate end-of-life care options including euthanasia and aftercare services. Our staff partners with local providers for in-home euthanasia when appropriate. We offer cremation options with memorial keepsakes while supporting owners through the emotional process of saying goodbye to their beloved companion animals.

Great vets, great technicians. Prices are also good. Don't bother showing up on time though. Generally takes 20-30 minutes past scheduled time to get seen. Still worth the care, but I wish they would improve their scheduling.

I really like and trust Dr Perez with my kitties. She's very friendly, seems to care and takes the time to show it, competent and thorough. Her advise has always helped my cats when they have been ill.

My Chihuahua is 14 and Sugar House vet has done wonders with her over the years - she used to take anti anxiety medication and no longer needs to when we go there. They do great nail trimmings and dental cleanings (where she doesn't have to be put under anesthesia). They also helped her tummy troubles and put her on a hydrolyzed protein diet. I'm happy with their services.

I've taken all my dogs to Sugar House for the last 9 years. They have consistently been thoughtful and kind, listened, worked with me and my budget and concerns, and most importantly loved on my dogs. Especially with my newest, I was really anxious about this last visit. She's not been very trustworthy around new people, environments, and other dogs, but the whole staff just loved on her and she soaked it up. It went so much better than I had hoped! Thank you thank you!

Great staff, clean exam rooms, unfortunately I have spent many hours here with my fur babies between normal checkups and having to say goodbye. When I did have to say goodbye the staff was so wonderful and patient with us. They gave us an unlimited amount of time in an exam room to try and say goodbye. It felt as every staff member came in and gave their condolences and to say goodbye and give her treats.
The staff is very accommodating with our dog that is not "dog friendly" and will either come to the truck or outside to let us know when a room is available. (I've had issues at different vets that staff didn't listen or care and put us and others in harms way) I think you may pay more for some things but over all it's worth it for the grade A care we receive.
