Since 1975, Dr. Borzio has owned and operated Northside Animal Hospital, a fully computerized 4-year AAHA Accredited Hospital where animals as small as hummingbirds or as large as lions have been treated. Northside Animal Hospital also provides medical services for United for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center and the Parks Dept on Staten Island free of charge.

We offer cardiology services, including echocardiography, in case the need arises to treat your pet for diseases of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and blood vessels. Your pet's teeth and gums should be examined at least once per year to detect early signs of periodontal disease or tooth decay.

If you are in need of alternative payment arrangements please discuss that prior to completion of services.* I hereby authorize the veterinarian to examine, prescribe for or treat the above described pet(s). I understand that all animals must be current on vaccinations and testing for boarding, grooming, daycare and hospital procedures.

In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment is made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards.
