That's one reason why we understand that your trust in us adds up to a special responsibility. The Bay East Animal Hospital team pledges to act as advocates of the Human Animal Bond by dedicating ourselves to practicing high quality medicine, providing comfort and compassion for our patients, education and support for our clients and treat both as family. Community Involvement
Report
At Bay East Animal Hospital we have a strong bond with our community and understand the importance of giving back. Not to mention the countless animals in need of love and medical attention rescued by our caring staff. We are proud to have a dedicated team that is committed to providing exceptional care to all the animals that find their way through our front door.
Nutrition
Report
Kittens need lots of calories to grow, and plenty of fresh water. Until they are 4 months old, we recommend feeding at least two meals a day, giving as much as the animal will consume in a ten to fifteen minute feeding. Since cats tend to be grazers, it is ok to leave food out all of the time while they're kittens, and gradually get him or her accustomed to one to two meals a day after six months of age.
Pet Care Guides & FAQ's
Report
Usually, black spots on a dog's tongue are no more than pigment spots, also known as "freckles". If you notice a new spot, especially if it is raised, inflamed, or growing quickly, it is time to see your veterinarian. The surface of a cat's tongue is covered with small hook-like projections which work to help remove meat from bones as they eat, as well as acting as a grooming tool. No amount of brushing can keep a cat's fur as soft and clean as grooming itself with its tongue. Even indoor cats need heartworm protection.
